The 2017 Fall Chanel Makeup Neon Wave Collection is Chanel’s way of waving goodbye to Summer. The electric new, limited edition 2017 Fall Chanel makeup collection is all about contrasts. As we move towards the cooler Fall weather, we’ll still have days of “Indian Summer,” when the temperature rise above the comfortable ,cooler weather of Fall. These days are contrasting, one day can feel like fall, and the next day morphs back to summer. Chanel devised a playful collection of contrasting shades, neutral shades for the eyes, and neon colors for the nails. It makes summer last just a teensy bit longer.
2017 Fall Chanel Makeup Look – Neon Nails
Chanel Neon Wave Collection sparks a new, bold look that is vibrant, energetic and electric. Neon Shades for Nails, and Luminous neutrals for eyes is quite daring. There are four Neon, Le Vernis, Nail Polish Shades in the collection.
Electric – a bright , bold, blue neon
Ultrasonic – an orange neon 
Fantastic – green neon
Magnetic – pink neon
The shade I chose , Magnetic Pink Chanel Le Vernis Nail Polish ($28) is a limited edition in a vibrant, neon shade of pink. Usually we think of Neon Shades as a summer staple. Did you ever think you’d be wearing Neon Nail Polish in the Fall? I didn’t. But, the idea of the 2017 Fall Chanel Makeup Collection’ Neon on the nails in contrast with Luminous Neutral Eyeshadow Shades on the eye. It’s like being torn between two opposing looks. Uber Cool, right?

Ombre Premiere Soft-Textured Powder Eyeshadow ($30) comes in four new, Limited Edition shades. These are the “neutral” shadows in the Neon Wave Collection. All of the Ombre Premiere shades come in either a matte, satin or a metallic finish.
The four Limited Edition Eyeshadow Shades in the Neon Wave Collection are:
Ray – a cloud pink with a satin finish
Trance – an oxidized olive with a satin finish and some glitter thrown in
Beat – a soft copper satin with some glitter thrown in
Pulse- a muted blackened purple with a satin finish

I purchased two of the four beautiful, neutral eyeshadows: Beat and Pulse.
The Ombre Premiere Eyeshadows come in a sleek, black palette with the Chanel Logo embossed on top of the compact.
Inside is simple and elegant mirror, and the compact comes with a velvet cover. 
The palettes also come with two applicators, a sponge applicator for shading, and a brush applicator for blending.
Ombre Premiere’s Longwear Powder Shadows feature a unique, long-wearing formula with specially designed particles that help the pigments adhere to the skin for longer wear-time.
These shadows are meant to be worn alone, or mixed with other shades to create your own eyeshadow shade.
If you crave a more intense eyeshadow look, Chanel Ombre Premiere Cream Eyeshadow underneath the powder creates the strong shadow look. You can also use a damp brush to apply the powder shadows, or wear an eye primer.
The neon nail polish is not fluorescent and crazy. It is a more sophisticated neon, one that you can wear over the age of 13! LOL. It makes me excited to try this look, with the gorgeous neutral eyeshadows. It shows that Chanel is moving forward in their thinking where their cosmetics are concerned. I am happy for that.
