Does sunshine make you as happy as it makes me? On the other hand, grey dark rainy days make me feeI really depressed. As a result, what do you do when this happens? One thing I do is sit under special “Northern Lights.” First, the lights are therapy for people, like me, who have seasonal affectation disorder. And, I have found that the lights really help you when I’m feeling sad because of the weather. Also, I put makeup on to cheer myself up. One look I love to create is the Sun Goddess look. In addition, I love the ” kissed by the sun” glow. Don’t you feel healthy when you have a tan? Although, tanning is no longer in vogue. Therefore if you want to look like you have a healthy tan, you need makeup! The Lime Crime Sunkissed Face Palette is Sunshine in a palette!
When you need a healthy-looking tan, you can find the Lime Crime Sunkissed Face Palette at Ulta, Revolve, and on the Lime Crime Website. The palette costs $44. However, Lime Crime’s Website has the palette on sale for $29! I would jump on that if you want the palette.
Lime Crime Sunkissed Face Palette Packaging
Just looking at the palette makes me feel happy. For one thing, the products are in a sunny, yellow case. Inside, the interior is a shiny rose gold. Moreover, the case ,made out of thick, cardboard, is sturdy, and it feels heavy in my hands. Also, the palette is quite large. The pans are a good size.
And, the palette has a nice-sized round mirror. And, the mirror has rose gold rays surrounding it. As a result, the mirror looks like the sun! This is such a cute palette. It might seem a bit too large to travel with. However, these six shades are versatile. As a result, you can use the shades on different parts of your face.
Lime Crime Sunkissed Face Palette Formula
The six Sunkissed shades are soft powders. Moreover, formula feels lightweight. Also, the powders have a buttery texture. And, the richly pigmented powders keep to the color they are in the pan. Also, the color payoff is excellent. In addition, the shades are easy to blend. Furthermore, you can layer shades, and mix them together.
Lime Crime Sunkissed Face Palette Shades
SALTY
First, Salty, a bronze shade with a matte finish, can be used to chisel your cheeks. Also, you can use Salty in the crease of your yes to give them definition. Also, use this matte bronze shade as an eyeshadow. Moreover, you can draw a three with your brush, on either side of your face for a bronze look. Remember to put the bronze shade on the outer sides of your nose. Finally, you can stripe the bronze shade from your temple on one side, across your nose, to your temple on the other side. In this way, you’ll look like you were on the beach all day.
GOLDEN HOUR
Second, Golden Hour, a golden yellow shade with gold reflects, that has a shimmering finish. Golden Hour is a color corrector.. First, it will add warmth to dull skin. And, it will disguise the dark circles under your eyes. Last, use Golden Hour underneath another highlighter.
SUN DAZE
Third, Sun Daze, a champagne pink shade has a shimmering finish. One, I’d use Sun Daze, as a highlighter, on the upper parts of my cheeks, down the bridge of my nose, on my brow bone, and on my Cupid’s bow. Also, I love this champagne pink shade as an eyeshadow. First, you can use it all over your eyelids. On the other hand, just use it in the center of your lids, to give your eyes a pop.
SIZZLE
Fourth, Sizzle, a bright orange shade, has a matte finish. For one thing, you can use Sizzle as a blush. Also, try a trick Wayne Goss taught me through a you tube. If you really want to look like you’ve been in the sun, use Sizzle across the top of your forehead, close to your hairline. Then blend it out. Also, brush some Sizzle on the high points of your cheeks, nose, and chin. You’ll look like you were touched by the sun. Since Wayne did this on you tube, I do it all the time! Also, I would put some above the eye crease, and blend it in. It adds dimension to your eyes.
MALIBU
Fifth, Malibu, a golden pink, has a shimmering finish. First of all, Malibu makes a gorgeous blush! Also, you can use it as an eyeshadow.
BASK
Finally, Bask is a Bronze shade , that has a shimmering finish. I love to powder Bask all over my face to create an all over glow! Also, use Bask wherever you want a glow, on your eyelids, brow bones, and cheekbones.
LimeCrime Sunkissed Face Palette Last But Not Least………..
There are a lot of face palettes on the market, to name a few, there is the Natasha Denona’s Tan Face Palette; Nars Atomic Blondie Face Palette; Violet Voss Glamingo Face Palette; and Becca’s Light Be A Light Face Palette. I really love face palettes because you can do so much with them. You can use them for your entire face, for eyeshadow, bronzer, highlights, and blush. And, if the palette has cream formulas, you can use them on your lips.
I especially love the Lime Crime Sunkissed Face Palette. First, there are two blushes. Yet, as I have shown, you can use them for your eyes. The orange blush can be used to fake a touch of sunburn. Then, there are two bronzers. Salty can be used to define your eyes, face, and cheeks. On the other hand, use Dusk to give yourself an all over glow-use it all over! Also, use it to glow your decollate, and neck! Next, the Sun Daze highlighter can be used on the high points of your face, and as an eye shadow.
What makes this palette for me is the Golden Hour Color Corrector. In fact, I don’t know of any other face palette that has a color corrector. You can highlight with it. Also, use it to correct dark circles, and brush it all over your face to give dull winter skin a sunny pick me up!
Let me know what face palettes you like in the comments below. I love hearing what you have to say, so don’t be shy, stop by and say hi!
