Eyeliner is the one product I can’t live without. Naturally, I would want to try the New Fenty Flypencil Pencil Liner! That’s because , I ‘m always in the mood to try out a new eyeliner. Even more, I’ll tell you a secret. I won’t even think about walking out of the house without lining my eyes. The reason, eyeliner makes all the difference in the way I look. For one thing, eyeliner adds definition to the eyes. Think Cleopatra! She wouldn’t leave home without it either!
Eyeliner Pencils I Love
Also, eyeliner is the fastest way to make yourself look good. That’s because the eyes have it. Therefore,I have my favorites. First, I swear by Mark Jacobs Highliner and Fineliner. The reason is, it is smudge-proof, waterproof, easy to apply, and you can wear it in your water lines without your eyes tearing all day. And, did I say it doesn’t smudge? Moreover, I have two more favorites. One is Huda’s Beauty Life Liner. This one has a pencil on one side, and a liquid on the other. Both are amazing. I love them so much, like the Marc Jacob’s liners, I have a drawer filled with them. Finally, I love Laura Gellar’s Kajal Liners. First of all, I’m in love with their long point! Also, the formula is amazing.
Fenty Beauty : The New Kid On The Block
Fenty is the new kid on the block. As a result, they only released on eyeliner when they came on the scene. And, this Flyliner, a liquid, came in one shade, matte black. Now, for Spring 2020, Fenty Beauty released the Fenty Flypencil. In addition, Fenty upped their eyeliner game to include twenty intense, colorful shades. Even more, the flypencil comes in matte, metallic, shimmer and glitter finishes.

The Fenty Flypencil Pencil Eyeliner Packaging
To start with, the Flypencil has a smart triangle shape. The reason for the shape i, it is supposed to be easy to hold . Additionally, the triangular shape is easy to control. Next, the pencil has a twist up tip. Furthermore, the tip is supposed to be flexible. Fenty Beauty describes the tip as “an innovative flex tip.”
First, I’ll tell you my thoughts on the tip. First, I thing the tip is flimsy. For one thing, it is a big circle. How are we supposed to draw a thin line with a big circle? Not easily! Also, there is no way to sharpen the tip. So, forget about precision. Which also can mean, Cat eye lines aren’t gonna be great.
The Tip Doesn’t Twist Down
Hence, now that we’ve established that the tip isn’t so great, it doesn’t even have a point, wait for this one. Wait for it…… O.K. , so you twist up the point. Next, you line your eyes. Then what? Normally, you’d twist the point back down. Not this one. You can not twist it down! What??????? So, the tip just stays there? Yep!
The actual body of the pencil is stunning. I mean it. I love the lavender-grey shiny stick. And, it has a lid. Also, the bottom of the pencil is the color of the shade inside. Finally, the pencil’s body is in the shape of a triangle. In this way, you are supposed to be easy to hold. Well, I think the pencil is a little bit thicker than what we’re used to.
Although, it is not a bad thing. In fact, it needs to be bigger because the actual liner is thicker. You know what? This would make an excellent cream shadow stick!
The Fenty Flypencil Pencil Eyeliner Formula
First, Ii love that the pencil has the crisp color intensity that you’d get in a liquid liner. Even more, I also like that it is easy to apply. The reason is, the pencil glides on like a gel. Furthermore, the Flypencil is water resistant. However, resistant is not water proof! Therefore, I don’t think it is so great to use to line your water lines.
Moreover, the formula won’t fade or transfer once it is set. However, until it sets, it will smudge. Although, it does dry down quickly. Just make sure it is set! Once it sets, it will last all day. In fact, it can be hard to take off!
The Fenty Flypencil Pencil Eyeliner Shades
Finally, Fenty hit it out of the park with 20 intense shades, in matte, metallic, shimmer, and glitter finishes. Also, the names of the shades are cool.
I purchased three of the Flypencils, in the shades Cuz I’m Black, Space Cookie, and Puppy Eyez. I chose these three shades in three different finishes.
Cuz I’m Black
First, Cuz I’m Black, an intense black shade, has a matte finish. Furthermore, this shade has a sister shade. 
Cuz I’m Black was Fenty’s very first eyeliner, in the liquid formula.
Space Cookie
Next, Space Cookie, a dark brown shade, has a gold, glitter finish.
Puppy Eyez
Third, Puppy Eyez, a bronze shade, has a metallic finish.
Black Card
Furthermore, Black Card, a black shade, has a silver glitter finish.
Bachelor Pad
Next, Bachelor Pad, a dark grey shade, has a matte finish.
Moon Dunez
Then, Moon Dunez, a purple shade, has a grey shimmer finish.
In Big Truffle
Also, In Big Truffle, a chocolate brown shade, has a matte finish.
Bank Tank
Next, Bank Tank, an olive green shade, has a matte finish.
Navy Or Dire
Moreover, Navy or Dire, a navy shade, has a shimmering finish.

Then, Sea About It, a cobalt blue shade, has a matte finish.

Fenty Flypencil Pencil Eyeliner Last But Not Least……..
Here’s what I like/love about the Fenty Flypencil, the formula, the shades, and their finishes. Also,, the pencil, itself, is a beautiful shade. However, it needs some work. First, it twists up. Although, it needs to twist back down. Otherwise, the tip will dry out. Or, the lid may squash it. Even more, it doesn’t need to be so thick. The reason is, it is hard to draw a fine line (think Cat’s eye).
Finally, it would be awesome if the tip had a point. In this way, you’d get more control. And, your line would be more precise. Also, it is difficult to put a circle, instead of a point, in your waterline.
