I purchased the Two Faced Just Peachy Eyeshadow Palette because I was hoping for more peach in their new peach palette, because in their original, Sweet Peach Palette, had 18 shades of… barely any peach!
Adorable Packaging
My favorite part of the packaging are these two adorable peaches that serve as a latch to open and close the palette. Two Faced always has really captivating, appealing, fun packaging that is well made, in addition to being sturdy and expensive just like the big boys, ie: Tom Ford, Chanel, and Natasha Denona to name a few. I love how they put the peach details in the design of the compact.
The Colors
The shades are gorgeous in this new palette. There are warm peaches, buttery creams and rich browns. And every single pan is matte. And yes, finally a peach eyeshadow palette with some peach shades in it! The formula is an exclusive Two Faced Matte Formula. The shades are infused with peach and sweet fig cream giving them a delicious scent. It is not quite the scent of the Sweet Cream Palette, as the fig cream scent combined with the peach scent smells more exotic and not at all cutesy.
The shades in row one are warm versions of peach. Peach Meringue is white with a tinge of warm peach, Peach Tea is more if a real peach, Peach Cobbler is a brighter Peach with more red in it, and Peach Tart is brown mixed with peach.
Peach Butter is a buttery peach. Just Peachy is a bright neutral peach. Peach Punch definitely has some orange hues mixed in with the peach, and Just Ripe has peach mixed with brown.
Peaches and Cream is a creamy peach, fresh picked is a burnt orangey peach, peach sangria is a burnt red, (the first three are sunset shades) , Chocolate Dipped looks like a milk chocolate chip.
The Perfect Palette
Now this is a Perfect Peach Palette. I love the warm, earthy peach tones. Peach is usually a good shade for every skintone, therefore the peach hues in this palette are extremely wearable. The shades in the palette are richly pigmented, and as a result the color payoff is intense. The formula is not dusty compared to most mattes, and it has a creamy, velvety texture, texture that feels like butter. The shadows are blendable, and there are a lot of looks you can create with these 12 gorgeous , matte eyeshadows.
