The new, limited edition Nars Claudette Collection is the first makeup I’ve seen for spring 2021. First, Nars Claudette Collection is an ode to his first muse and model, Claudette. Therefore, Claudette was the inspiration for this capsule collection. For one thing, Claudette had an eye for style. First, she never left home without her blush! Also, her favorite designer was YSL. As a result,the collection shows how his mother “embodied refined glamour” during the 1970’s. Even more,the colors in the collection are a nod to the YSL 1976 Russian inspired haute couture collection. Finally, the collection includes the Claudette St. Germain des Pres Eyeshadow Palette, the Claudette Blush Duo, and four soft-focus Audacious Lipsticks.
You can find the entire Claudette Collection at Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and on the Nars Website. In addition, the Claudette St. Germain des Pres Eyeshadow Palette (6 x 0.42 oz. / 12 g) costs $49. Also, the Claudette Blush Duo (2 x 0.77 oz. / 22g) costs $45. And, the Audacious Claudette Collection Lipsticks(0.14oz./ 4.2g) costs $39.
The Nars Claudette Collection Packaging
To begin with, the outer boxes are red, with gold writing. Then, the compact and lipstick tubes are the Nars Classic sleek matte onyx. 
Next, each compact and tube has a graphic crimson star, heart or butterfly design. Also, the compacts click to open, and snap closed. 
Both compacts have a large mirror. One thing is, the compacts aren’t easy to open. And, the lipstick tubes have a strong magnetic closure. 
All of the packaging is sleek and gorgeous. All of the pieces will look great on your vanity!

First, the eyeshadow formula is pressed pigments suspended in an innovative liquid binding system. In this way, the formula creates rich, high impact color with one stroke. Additionally,the formula is free of parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, sulfates SLS & SLES, triclocarban, triclosan, and contains less than one percent synthetic fragrance. It is also gluten-free.

First,the blush is Nars pressed powder blush formula. The formula is weightless so that the blush will give you a natural-looking flush of color. Also, the shades are buildable. Even more, the two shades work well together.

Next, Ninotchka, an amber bronze shade, has a matte finish.

Audacious Lipstick Formula
To start,the formula is the Nars Audacious Lipstick rich color, luxury matte formula. Therefore, the colors are bold and saturated. The formula is creamy and opaque. Also,the formula feels hydrating on your lips. Evenmore, the lipstick stays put. In other words, it doesn’t feather or bleed! It goes on smoothly. And, it is long-lasting.
Audacious Lipstick Claudette Collection Shades
There are four shades in the collection. However, I only purchased three of the shades.
Claudette
First, Claudette, a rich rust red shade, has a satiny matte finish. Also, this rich shade flatters all skin tones. And, it is the perfect fall/winter shade.
Lea
Next, Lea, a neutral spiced rose shade, has a satin matte finish.
Augustine
Last, Augustine, a taupe nude shade, has a satin matte finish. This shade is a great nude shade!
My Final Thoughts on the Nars Claudette Collection…….
First things first, like Claudette, my mother loved YSL in the 70’s! Also, my mom never went out without her blush or lipstick! I remember the 1976 YSL Russian Collection well! So, I became very nostalgic with this makeup collection. 
The colors are beautiful. 
I love the packaging. I can almost see it on the YSL models on the Vogue cover!
It is limited edition, and it is a capsule collection. 
Therefore, , if you want something from this collection, run, don’t walk, before it sells out!
