It’s been a while since I was madly in love with an Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette. I think the last time I fell in love with a UD Palette was the UD Basquiat Collection. New and Now, The Newest Urban Decay Naked Palette is awesome. Urban Decay really stepped up their game and gave us an outstanding holiday Palette. This is the first time there has been a Naked Palette collaboration. This collaborative endeavor includes the signature Urban Decay Formula. In addition, the color story, and artwork, is the work of born and raised, California artist, and animator, Robin Eisenberg. Eisenberg drew her inspiration for the palette shades from the beauty of those California Skies, from sunrise, to twilight. Inspiration also came from Robin’s signature alien characters. Since it is a holiday palette, Robin gave the palette a wintery holiday touch. The 12 richly pigmented matte and shimmer shades are both warm and cool toned. What makes this palette a must have is, you can turn it up, by creating bold, glittering holiday eyes. Or, go ahead and tone it down with the neutrals in the palette for everyday looks.
You can find the Naked Urban Decay Robin Eisenberg collaborative Naked Palette at Nordstrom,Ulta, Sephora, and on the Urban Decay Website. The Urban Decay X Robin Eisenberg Palette 12 x ( 0.043 oz./ 2.3 g) costs $54.
The artwork on the outer box was the work of Robin Eisenberg. The cardboard box is recyclable. The plastic eyeshadow case can also be recycled. Urban Decay plastic containers can be recycled. Their plastic packaging is often made from #1 (PET) or #5 (PP) plastics and is recyclable. If you don’t have the option of curbside pickup, go to Earth 911 Website, enter your zip code, and they will show you where the the nearest drop off location is, and if they accept #1 or #5 plastic. We’re all focused on saving the environment — even if it’s just a little bit at a time.
The plastic case has a clear plastic piece over the lid of the case, which protects the artwork underneath. The case is weighty, black lacquer plastic. The case has a magnetic closure. Inside, there is a full-sized rectangular mirror underneath the lid. The 12 eyeshadow pans are in one row, from left to right, in rectangular eyeshadow pans. Also with the case, you get a dual-ended, brush, to apply your makeup. This is a great travel-worthy palette.
The formula, signature Urban Decay Naked, is long-wearing,( 12 hour weartime), velvety, richly pigmented formula. It is easy to build, easy to blend. It has matte , shimmer and glitter finishes. Expect a little bit of glitter fallout, which is normal for glitter. You know that. The formula is Vegan, Cruelty Free, Leaping Bunny Certified.

This is a great Naked Holiday Palette. The colors are beautiful, and the finishes are really exceptional. This is right on up thee with the greats, Natasha Denona, and Pat McGrath. Now, that is a compliment. I love the color story. Those icy blues are a touch of winter, you can feel how cold they are. The nude shades are warm and you can create your everyday looks with them. But come the night, go all out with those gorgeous shimmers, and glitter shades.
