EM Cosmetics Venetian Rose Collection

I was excited when EM Cosmetics released the New Venetian Rose Collection. First, came the  EM Magic Hour is a pinky-peach shade.  Next, came EM’s Faded Clementine shade, in bronze-tangerine shade.  Therefore, EM’s third color collection, Venetian Rose,  a rich vintage rose shade is mixed with warm pinks, is the newest shade Collection.  The inspiration for the collection came from the enchanting colors of Venice, the most romantic capital of the world!

In addition, the collection comes in three of EM’s signature products.  One, is the Heaven’s Glow Radiant Veil Blush in Venetian Rose.  Two, is the Color Drops Serum Blush in Venetian Rose.  Three, is the Lip Cushion Tinted Lip Luminizer in Venetian Rose.  So far, there isn’t an eyeshadow palette in this gorgeous vintage rose shade.  Also, no lip gloss yet!  But, we can only hope they will come someday.  Although, we can’t complain, since three amazing products now come in the gorgeous new vintage rose shade!

You can find the Venetian Rose Collection on the EM Cosmetics Website.  First, Heaven’s Glow Radiant Veil Blush in Venetian Rose (0.28 Oz./ 8.0g) costs $34.  Next, The Color Drops Serum Blush in Venetian Rose ( .34 fl. oz. / 10 mL) costs $25.  Last, Lip Cushion Tinted Lip Volumizer in Venetian Rose ( 0.05 oz./ 1.6g) costs $22.

Color Drops Serum Blush

To begin with, I am going to start with the Color Drops Serum Blush.  The reason is, the Venetian Rose shade had already appeared with the Color Serum Drops.  Therefore, the Color Drops in the Venetian Rose Shade still comes packaged in the original packaging.  In other words, the packaging didn’t change to match the rest of the collection.

To begin with, EM Cosmetics Founder, Michelle Phan, designed the packaging for her brand.  Even more, Michelle’s artwork and packaging was influenced by what is called “sacred geometry.” To explain, sacred geometry assigns hidden meaning within certain geometric shapes and proportions.  For example, her geometric logo has hidden within it, the letters E and M.  This geometric design is on the outer box, and on the blush bottle. Also, the blush bottle, in the shape of a globe, is frosted glass. The lid is also the dropper applicator. Start with one drop.  If this is too sheer, add another drop. Either use your finger, or a sponge, to apply the blush.

Two things changed on the outer box.  First, the color of the box is Venetian Rose, a vintage rose shade.  Then, the writing is in gold.  The other difference on the outside box is the positioning of the EM geometric insignia.  Instead of being front and centered on the box, the insignia has been moved to the top left corner of the front of the box.  Even more, the insignia is much smaller.

Next, the only change made on the Radiant Veil Blush Compact is the shade.  Now, the compact is also in the Vintage Rose Shade.  However,the geometric insignia is in the center of the outside lid of the compact. Even more, the compact has a nice sized mirror underneath the outer lid.  Also, the powder is in a dome shape.  And,the lid has a magnetic closure.

Lip Cushion Tinted Lip Luminizer

The Lip Cushion’s outer box is also in the Vintage Rose Shade.  Also,the lip cushion tube is in the Venetian Rose Shade.  The plastic tube has a twist up, twist down turner on the bottom.  On the top is a nice-sized lid that snaps on, and pulls off.  Last, the lipstick and the mouth of the applicator are slanted, to make it easier to glide the lip cushion on your lips.

Color Drops Serum Blush

Four main skincare ingredients are included in the  Color Blush Serum Drops formula. All of these ingredients are good for your skin. After all, this is a Serum Blush.  And, the Key word here is Serum!

They are Sacha Inchi Oil, Squalane, Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamin E.

First, Sacha Inchi OIl comes from the Peruvian Rainforest.  Also, this plant is rich in natural sources of omega fatty acids.  And, it has antibacterial properties. Above all, this oil acts as an antioxidant.  As a result, it helps moisturize, smooth, and protect your skin.

Next, Squalane, an emollient, seals in water and retains moisture.  Even more, Squalane covers the skin with a protective coating.  In this way, it improves moisture balance,and the elasticity of the skin.

Then, Hyaluronic Acid, the water-attracting molecule, rehydrates your skin.  Also, it reduces fine lines and makes skin feel soft.

Last, the formula includes Vitamin E, a fat soluble antioxidant,  used to protect skin from free radical damage.  Even more,  it has anti-aging benefits.

Heaven’s Glow Radiant Veil Blush

To begin with, the formula includes a unique mix of pearlized powders, and cream.  Next, the powders are combined, pressed, and baked for 12 hours. Finally,the end result is a fine, radiant, blendable powder.  Also, the powder gives you a three-dimensional effect that reflects a soft-focus, which creates a blurring effect.

Even more, the powder feels soft and blends seamlessly/  The formula is buildable, and you can layer it for a more intense color.  Finally, your end result will be an ultra-natural looking glow, that has a skin-like finish.

Additionally, the formula is vegan, cruelty free, and gluten free.
