I am a blush junkie. In fact,I love all types of blush. For example, blush comes in many formulas, such as cream blush, bounce and blur blush, glow stick blush, liquid blush and powder blush. One type of blush I haven’t tried is Serum Blush. As a result, I recently purchased Em Cosmetics Color Drops Serum Blush. First, the EM Color Drops Serum Blush is makeup with ‘good for your skin’ skin-care ingredients in it! Also, it doesn’t have any shimmer, or glimmer. Instead, it gives your cheeks sheer, buildable color. Most of all, it gives you a youthful, healthy, bouncy sheen.
You can find the EM Cosmetics Color Drops Serum Blush on the EM Cosmetics Website. Additionally, the Color Drops Serum Blush (0.34 fl. oz./ 10mL) costs $25.
The Packaging For The Color Drops Serum Blush
To begin with, EM Cosmetics Founder, Michelle Phan, designed the packaging for her brand. Even more, Michelle’s artwork and packaging was influenced by what is called “sacred geometry.” To explain, sacred geometry assigns hidden meaning within certain geometric shapes and proportions. For example, her geometric logo has hidden within it, the letters E and M. This geometric design is on the outer box, and on the blush bottle.
Also, the blush bottle, in the shape of a globe, is frosted glass. The matte gold lid has a button on top. First, unscrew the lid. Then, with the lid still on the bottle, press the button on top and hold it down for a few seconds. Next, release the button. Again, press down on the button, and release it. Pull the lid off. The lid is also the dropper applicator. Start with one drop. If this is too sheer, add another drop. Either use your finger, or a sponge, to apply the blush.
The Formula For The Color Drops Serum Blush
Four main skincare ingredients are included in the formula. They are Sacha Inchi Oil, Squalane, Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamin E.
First, Sacha Inchi OIl comes from the Peruvian Rainforest. Also, this plant is rich in natural sources of omega fatty acids. And, it has antibacterial properties. Above all, this oil acts as an antioxidant. As a result, it helps moisturize, smooth, and protect your skin.
Next, Squalane, an emollient, seals in water and retains moisture. Even more, Squalane covers the skin with a protective coating. In this way, it imporves moisture blanance, and the elasticity of the skin.
Then, Hyaluronic Acid, the water-attracting molecule, rehydrates your skin. Also, it reduces fine lines and makes skin feel soft.
Last, Vitamin E, a fat soluble antioxidant, is used to protect skin from free radical damage. Even more, it has anti-aging benefits.
The Color Drops Serum Blush Shades
To begin with, the Color Drops Serum Blush Shades come in 8 shades. I purchased two of the shades, Venetian Rose, and Sunset Sky. The other shades are Peachy Peach, a true peach shade, Little Lilac, a lavender pink shade, Cherry Splash, a classic red shade, Rose Milk , a blush pink, Soft Amethyst, a rose berry, and Pink Nectar, a watermelon shade. All of the shades have a dewy, glowing finish.
Second, Sunset Sky, a warm coral shade, has a dewy glowing finish.
My Final Thoughts On The EM Cosmetics Color Drops Serum Blush…….
For one thing, I love the youthful glow the Serum Blush gives my cheeks. Also, it is easy to apply. I used my finger to apply the blush. You can use a sponge if you prefer. Also, I only used 3 to 4 drops for the perfect amount of blush. It isn’t too sheer, and it isn’t too intense. It is in the goldilocks zone, just right! Even more, the blush lasts all day. And,by the end of the day, my cheeks still had that dewy, youthful-looking glow. Even more, the ingredients included in the formula are really good for your skin. So, you are getting blush and skincare in one bottle.
