Concealers are no longer “your mother’s concealer!” For example, concealers come in all different types of formulas. Therefore, their packaging is also different. I have found that the Illamasqua Skin Base Concealer Pen, as the name suggests, has the most unique packaging of them all, given that it comes in a pen.

Illamasqua Skin Base Concealer Pen Tips For Application
First, to cover blemishes, click the pen once. Use the Zamac tip to apply the concealer over the blemish. Then, using the flat edge of the pen, pat the formula to blend it into the skin.
Always moisturize around your eye area before applying your makeup. The reason for this is the area around your eye is the most delicate area on your face, First, the area has minimal fatty tissue, and water. Therefore, in order to boost moisture level, use a moisturizer, and moisturize well. Then apply your foundation. Afterwards, you can apply your concealer. Again, always apply your concealer After you’ve applied your foundation.
On the other hand, always conceal your blemishes before you apply your foundation.
Furthermore, for high coverage, use a tapping motion to apply the concealer. On the other hand, if you want to diffuse concealer to a sheer color, use a brush and apply it with a sweeping motion.
Finally, if you want to cover, or blur, dark circles under your eyes, or give your eyes a lift, follow the Triangle of Light Technique that I learned from Trish McEvoy. First, with your concealer pen, start at the inner corner of your eye. Next, draw a triangle down to your cheek, and back up to the outer corners of your eye. Last, starting at the bottom and moving up towards your lashline, pat the concealer into your skin with a concealer brush.
Last But Not Least…….
None of us are perfect. However, we can blur or cover our flaws using concealer. I use different concealers for different reasons. For instance, if I am going to a nighttime party, I would use a concealer, like the Natasha Denona, to add light or the Nars that adds radiance under my eyes.
