My first New Eye Shadow Palette for 2019 is from one of my favorite Makeup Artists, Natasha Denona. Additionally, it is a mini palette. Last, the palette is a sophisticated nude palette. Above all, according to me, Natasha makes the best eye shadows ever! Moreover, Pat McGrath, like Natasha, makes outstanding, luxury, high quality makeup. In my opinion, both makeup artists make the best eye shadows on the market today. Now, Natasha has created and curated a handful of mini eye shadow palettes. These mini’s each have a color theme. Furthermore, the five eye shadows shades in the palette are in keeping with the theme.. Recently, I’ve reviewed some of these palettes. First, I loved the ND Cranberry Eye Shadow Palette, Camel Eyeshadow palette, Mini Sunset Palette and the Lila Eye Shadow Mini Palette. Now, the first ND Palette for the new year is the Natasha Denona Mini Nude Palette.
The mini palettes are good for a number of reasons. First, not everyone can afford Natasha’s large palettes’ hefty price tag, $239. Maybe, you don’t need the 28 shades in the big palettes. Another reason is the large shadow palettes are difficult for travel. Moreover, if you aren’t a makeup aficionado, you wouldn’t know what to do with 28 green/blue shades! Also, some of Natasha’s slightly smaller palettes, that include 15 shades, costs $129. However, five eye shadows are easy to work with. The regular sized five shaded palettes cost $48. Finally, the mini palettes are a good way to try Natasha’s exquisite shadows, and her amazing formula, without breaking the bank.
Natasha Denona Mini Nude Palette Packaging
To start, the Mini Nude Palette’s packaging is really adorable. First, the outer packaging box is a nude metallic. Also, it has white printing. In addition, the front of the box has Natasha Denona and Mini Nude Palette written in printed block letters. On the backside, are the ingredients to three of the shades.
The cover of the compact is clear plastic. As a result, you can see-through to the five mini shades. The eye shadow pans are in the bottom of the palette.
Last of all, the compact feels weighty. Also, the hinges open and close the palette. Although, the hinges take the lid 2/3 of the way down towards closing the palette., The reason for this is so you will have to push the lid all the way until you hear a snap. Hence, the lid stays closed!
Natasha Denona Mini Nude Palette Formula
Natasha Denona’s signature formula, pressed pigments, create the formula for this palette. The ingredients are vegan, cruelty free and paraben free. The shimmer shades are buttery. They go on smoothly. The shimmers feel soft. The pigments create strong, gorgeous shades. The mattes are super creamy. Also, the pigments create strong matte colors that are easy to blend, and easy to apply. Furthermore, the colors are buildable.
Natasha Denona Mini Nude Palette Shades
There are two shades with metallic finishes. There are two matte shades. Also, there is one duo-chrome shade.
First, Bronzage is a light copper shade in a metallic, chroma – crystal finish. I would wear Bronzage as a lid color. Also, I would use it as a transition shade. Although, I like the way it looks as an under eye liner.
Next, Quoin is a gold shade with a creamy matte finish. I like this matte orangey brown shade in the crease of my eye. Also, continue to blend upwards into the transition area. Also, use it along your lower lash line – from the outer corner to almost your inner corner.
In addition, Lumino is a pearl shade with a metallic finish. Also, Lumino is the lightest shade in the palette. As a result, it looks great as a highlighter. I would use it on the inner corners of my eyes, and under my brow on my brow bone.
Then, Sienna is a terracotta shade with a duo chrome finish. Incidentally, Sienna is my favorite shade. It looks great on your eyelids. You can wear some in your inner corners. Moreover, I like to wear it smudged on my lower lash line.
Finally, Soil , a red-brown shade , has a creamy matte finish. Also, Soil is the deepest shade in the pallet. Therefore, I like Soil in the outer corners of your eyes. Also, you can wear this deep, red brown shade on your lower lash line. Additionally, Soil will look great as a transition shade. You can also use Soil to smoke up the outer edge of your eye.
Natasha Denona Mini Nude Palette Application Tips
To begin with, to blend the matte shades, apply them with a fluffy brush. However, if you are looking for more of a precision application, use a detail brush. Next, to apply the metallic, duo chrome and chroma crystal shades, for a subtle application, use a brush. However, if you want high pay off, and a foiled finish, use a damp brush or use your fingertips.
Natasha Denona Mini Nude Palette Last But Not Least……
I’m in love with the New Mini Nude Natasha Denona Palette. One reason is, it is an exciting palette for a nude shade palette. A lot of nude palettes can look muddy when applied. Also, the other problem with nude palettes is, when you blend two or more shade, they all turn into one ugly shade. This is not the case with this palette. The shadows blend easily, and the colors stay the same. Next, I love the formula Natasha uses for her large palettes. Of all the small palettes, and the minis, the formula has been lacking. In other words, it did not stand up to the large palette formulas. However, This new palettes’s formula is comparable to Natasha’s larger palettes. Finally, the nude mini is neutral, and wearable. That means, you can wear it for everyday wear, and you can embellish it for night time wear.
If the New Natasha Mini Nude Palette is any indication of the kind of luxury, quality and price palette we’ll see in 2019 – then we can be excited about what’s in store for us in the New Year. So, what are you thinking about? Did you have a Happy New Year? I have a bad cold and cough because I overdid it this holiday season. Yet, I loved every minute of it. But, I’m paying for it now! So, there is nothing better than a gorgeous new eye shadow palette to cheer me up! Talk to me in the comments below. I love hearing from you!
