Summer is when I don’t like to wear a heavy coverage foundation, which is way too heavy in the hot, humid weather. Since I also want to wear a sunscreen, along with a lighter, weightless foundation, BB creams are definitely the way to go. When talking BB creams, K-beauty ( the Korean beauty industry) are at the top of their game . They invented compacts that hold a spongy cushion that contains the formula for a BB or CC cream, and an antimicrobial applicator that picks up just the right amount of formula you need to apply to your face and create a buildable coverage that you control. 
Laneige is a popular Korean Beauty Brand that has been researching skincare solutions for over 20 years. They are a subsidiary company of Amore Pacific. Recently, Sephora has brought Laneige to the rest of the world. The cushion compacts are becoming more and more popular and more well-known to the western world. I purchased Laneige BB Cushion Hydra Radiance ($38) .
It is the foundation version of the Laneige popular BB Cushion . It enhances your radiance and hydrates your skin. It also gives you Broad Spectrum SPF 50 that protects your skin against UVA and UVB rays. It can be used on all skin types.
The formula uses an exclusive brightening technology, Melacrusher, that evens out the skin to create a flawless complexion. It has Double-Coated pigments that are infused with micro pearls that create a luminous finish, and a moisturizer with long-lasting hydration.
The Skin Fit air cushion is exclusive to Laneige, and it includes a dense antimicrobial applicator for thin, even layers of coverage without buildup.
It leaves no buildup. You can apply it where ever, and when ever you want.
It also includes a full-sized refill and an additional applicator puff.
The packaging is made well. It has a hinge that allows the top of the cushion to swing open. It has a click-in closure which keeps the cushion from drying out.
This compact is perfect for travel. It is also great to keep with you for touchups throughout your day, or night.
There are six shades in this Collection. I purchased Cinnamon No. 33 , for medium skin with neutral undertones. It is the perfect shade for me, and it is forgiving. I love the light, airy, dewy finish I get. It is super hydrating. The SPF is built into the formula, and I even used it on the beach as a sunscreen this past weekend. It gives me the exact amount of coverage I want. It is so lightweight that you could wear this under your foundation. However, it builds easily and evenly, and covers minor imperfections well while still looking natural on the skin.
This is my summer foundation, It has a pleasant scent. It doesn’t dry out and you actually get two foundations and two applicator puffs for the price of one! I think it is a great value.
