First of all, I have no skills when it comes to drawing, and filling in, my eyebrows. In fact, I’ve tried lots of different things, like the time I had my eyebrows dyed. They were so unnatural looking, I hated them. I wore sunglasses until they started to fade. Another thing I keep doing is, every time a new eyebrow pencil comes out, like the Gucci Eyebrow Powder Pencil, Marc Jacobs Brow Wow, and Anastasia Dip Brow, I have to try it. I’ve tried tons of eyebrow pencils over the years. Now that eyebrows are so popular, it is more important than ever, for me to learn how to do them! Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil, another eyebrow pencil,I need to try it!
For one thing, Huda Beauty claims that Huda, through all her experience with eyebrows, reinvented the eyebrow pencil. Now, how much can one do to “reinvent” an eyebrow pencil? Actually, Huda did do one thing to change the eyebrow pencil – she created the thinnest ,( 0.09mm) point, microfine pencil on the market today.
As a result, the Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil has helped me create precision brows that are defined and shaped.
You can find the Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil at Sephora, and on the Huda Beauty Website. And, the Huda eyebrow pencil (0.0008 oz. / 0.023 g) costs $17.
The Packaging For the Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil
To start, the Huda Bomb Brows comes in a signature Huda Beauty outer box. First, the box is matte black, with white writing. Also, the word Beauty is in a metallic fuschia shade. Next, the dual-ended , retractable pencil, in a gunmetal, pentagon shaped case. Each side has a lid. Pull the lid off one side, and there is a spoolie. Then, pull the lid off the other side, and you will find the thinnest (0.09mm) twist up retractable pencil point!
The Formula For The Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil
First, the formula has rich pigments, that are super-soft. In this way, the pencil creates defined, shaped, and filled-in brows using tiny hair-like strokes. In fact, these strokes mimic a micro-blading effect. However, unlike microblading, the Bomb Bows is NOT permanent. Even more, it is a fraction of the cost of microblading.
Furthermore, the formula is infused with a blend of the following ingredients: Vitamin E, Castor Oil, and Coconut Oil. Hence, these ingredients work to allow you to create small, hair-like strokes. In addition, the formula is blendable and buildable, so you can create brows that look real. Finally, the formula is waterproof, smudge proof, and transfer-proof! Also, the formula is long-lasting.
The Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil Shades
There are eight shades in the Bomb Brows Collection. Also, the shades are numbered 1 thru 8.
I purchased the shade #5, a medium brown shade, for neutral brown hair with a mix of cool and warm tones.
My Final Thoughts On The Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil…….
First, I love the pencil’s sleek design. Also, this spoolie really helps diffuse the color through the brows. Even more, I like that there is more variety (8) of shades to choose from. It is not just a light, medium, deep or dark choice. Two warnings. The pencil point is really thin, so don’t press too hard, or it WILL break. Also, let the formula set in place, or it will SMUDGE! Finally, it is really hard to draw precise, sharp lines that will mimic hair-like strokes! However, the Bomb Brows Pencil is the thinnest pencil on the market. It is easy to use. Above all, IT DRAWS HAIR-LIKE STROKES!!! And, it lasts all day!
