When it comes to makeup, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. My weakness is brows. I just never got the hang of creating full, voluminous eyebrows. So, most of the time, I don’t even bother with them. I was in Ulta the other day, and the Benefit salesperson asked me if I wanted to try the new Benefit Volumizing Fiber Eyebrow Pencil. I told her I was not good at doing eyebrows. She insisted that this pencil would be a breeze. In fact, she recommended the new Benefit Gimme Brows Goals Volumizing Brow Gel & Volumizing Fiber Eyebrow Pencil Value Set. I happen to love the Benefit Gimme Brow Gel, it is easy to use, and you really can’t mess it up. I was afraid to try the kit because eyebrow pencils scare me.
The new Benefit Volumizing Fiber Eyebrow Pencil is the first pencil that includes fibers with powder that adheres to the skin and hairs, giving natural-looking texture and lasting fullness. 
Layered with the Gimme Brow Gel, that also contains tiny microfibers that adhere to the skin and hair, tames and tints brows, while giving brows natural-looking.

Cute Packaging is cute. However, just being cute and adorable doesn’t cut it in todays world. Benefit Cosmetics doesn’t support environmental initiatives such as recycling, and using natural products are not selling points for this company. Benefit does not provide information on shipping materials, and doesn’t mention sustainability on their Website, as of March 2022. Also, although Benefit claims they are against animal testing, they still sell to markets that do animal testing. Unfortunately, this gives the brand a bad rating. This doesn’t mean that Benefit is a bad brand. They have some great products, including their brow products. Yet, they’re not a vegan brand, and they still use parabens and phthalates in their formulas. 
They do carry the recycle symbol on the Gimme Brow Goals outer box! However, the brand needs to update and join the majority of other companies that have already, or give a projected time when they will fully be upgraded, to sustainability, and environmental issues.
The gel features a tiny, tapered brush for easy, mess-proof application. 
For the eyebrow pencil, you still need to purchase a Universal Benefit Pencil Sharpener ($5) to sharpen the pencil. The sharpener also sharpens three pencil sizes, from jumbo to standard (so it is not a bad investment).
The Volumizing Fiber Eyebrow Pencil is a first of its kind. The formula includes silk cotton tree fibers and powders that adhere to skin and hairs, to fill, add volume and define brows. The formula provides natural-looking texture and lasting fullness. The pencil is easy to use. It builds depth and dimension, creating light-weight volume, that give you fuller, thicker brows, that still look soft and natural. The transfer-proof, waterproof formula gives you long-lasting, 12 hour wear time.
The Gimme Brow tinted eyebrow gel also contains microfibers that adhere to skin and hairs, giving the brows more natural-looking fullness. The formula is water-resistant, and easily buildable.

Finally, if you are like me, and don’t have the confidence to do your brows, then the Benefit Gimme Brows Goals is a great kit to try. Plus, it is a value kit, and you get to try out a new product, and get a full-sized fan favorite! The newest Benefit product, the Volumizing Fiber Eyebrow Pencil comes in a mini size. Also, the kit includes everyone’s favorite (including me!) the Volumizing Brow Gel, which comes in full-size. 
Lightly stroke the Fiber Eyebrow Pencil to fill brows in, add volume, and define brows. 
Then brush through with the Gel to define and shape your brows.
Like I said, some of the Benefit products are really good. Although, they have not stepped up to rid themselves of the ingredients that are not good for our health, such as parabens and phthalates. Also, they are not totally cruelty free, since their products are tested on animals in other countries, even if they are not tested on animals in the US. Even more, the brand is not stepping up sustainability and are not environmentally friendly (that we know of). There is nothing in their website, to imply that they are recyclable. I don’t understand this, especially because the brand comes from California, where they are usually ahead of the vegan, cruelty free, sustainable, and recyclable crusades. So, what gives?
