Spring is just around the corner. Although, it hasn’t Sprung yet! The reason is, there still is a foot of snow outside my front door. However, the Limited Edition Chantecaille Spring Butterfly Collection is here! Even more, this Spring collection celebrates the butterflies once more! In fact, proceeds from the Butterfly Collection’s sales will go to support the Xerces Society. Namely a science-based non-profit organisation, Xerces protects wildlife through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitats. Furthermore, this is Chantecaille’s 32st philanthropy collection! Finally, the collection includes the Butterfly Eye Quartet, and three new Lip Chic Shades.
You can find the New Chantecaille Spring Butterfly Collection at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Blue Mercury, and on the Chantecaille Website. First, Chantecaille Butterfly Eye Quartet (.07 oz. / 2g) costs $72. Also, the new Lip Chic (.09oz./ 2.5g) costs $42.
The Chantecaille Spring Butterfly Collection Packaging
To begin with, the outer box of the Eyeshadow Quad has a beautiful picture of a Monarch butterfly on a flower. More,the outer box is recyclable.
First,the compact is small enough to sit in the palm of your hand. As a result,it is easy to hold with one hand, and apply the shadows with the other. Also,the compact has the same picture of the butterfly,sucking nectar from a flower, on the cover. Also, the compact is a limited edition collectable. 
First, to open the compact, simply lift the lid using the mechanism on the front of the palette. You will hear a click. 
Then, to close the compact, simply push the lid down until you hear a click.
Inside the compact,is a large mirror, underneath the lid. On the other side of the mirror are four round pans of eyeshadows.
Next,the Lip Chic outer boxes are three pastel shades. I purchased two of the three Lip Chics in this collection. Therefore, the boxes I have are the color of hyacinth, and a light spring green shade. Also, the boxes are recyclable. 
Next, the lipstick cases are the same shade as is their outer boxes.
Even more,there is a white butterfly on both the outer box, and the lipstick case lid.
Last, the lid has a magnet in it. As a result, the lid stays on the case! There is nothing worse than a lipstick lid falling off, while the lipstick is in your handbag! 
And, the strong magnet will prevent that from happening.
The Chantecaille Spring Butterfly Collection Formulas
First, the shades come in three formulas : satin, shimmer,and chrome pearl finishes. Next, the shades are ethereally pigmented. Therefore, the colors have a very soft, light wash of color. Also, the shades will last longer if you apply an eyeshadow primer before you apply the shades. Finally, the formula is vegan, cruelty-free, fragrance-free and gluten-free.
Next. The Lip Chic has a smoothing, glossy, formula. Therefore, it looks shiny, and glossy on the lips. Also, it lasts longer than I thought it would, considering it is almost like lip gloss. However, the Lip Chic is more pigmented than a lip gloss. In fact, you will have the high shine of a lip gloss, with the rich,even coverage of a lipstick. Above all, the Lip Chic Formula includes Hyaluronic Acid. As a result,your lips will be plumper, fuller, and feel softer. And, your lips will look younger. Finally, the Hyaluronic Acid will make your lips feel nourished.
The Chantecaille Spring Butterfly Collection Lip Chic Shades
There are three Butterfly Lip Chic Shades. All three shades are soft, spring-like shades. However, I only purchased two of them. Therefore, the shade I didn’t purchase was Clover,a neutral pink shade, has a glossy finish. 
The two shades I did purchase are Peach Blossom, a warm, wearable peach shade,has a glossy finish.
And, the other shade, Hyssop, a rich neutral shade, has a glossy finish.
The Chantecaille Spring Butterfly Eye Quartet Eyeshadow Quad Shades
To begin with, all of the shades in the Butterfly Eye Quartet were inspired by the brilliant shades, and the shimmer of butterfly wings. 
Therefore, the shades are very soft. The result is,the shades create a light wash of shimmering color.
Shade 1
First, Shade One, a taupe shade, has a satin finish. For one thing,I would wear this shade all over the eyelid, up to and including the crease.
Shade 2
Next, Shade Two, a shade that includes pink, green, and gold pearls, has a triple-chrome finish. First, this triple-chrome is the star of the palette! One, it is a color-shifting shade, which will make any look more interesting. As a result, wear shade 2 all over your eyelids. Or, wear this triple-chrome in the center of your eyelids. Also, I would wear this to line my lower lash line. You can have some fun with this shadow. Anything goes! It is still soft enough, you won’t end up with a Pat McGrath Look! (Although there is nothing wrong with a Pat McGrath look, it is just more dramatic, and more daring!)
Shade 3
Then, Shade Three, a peach shade, has a shimmering finish. One way I would wear this shade is all over my eyelids. Also, it would look pretty on the inner corners of your eyes. Also, I like it over the crease, on the brow bone.
Shade 4
Last, Shade Four, a rose gold shade, has a satin finish. Wear this rose gold shade on the outer corners of your eyes. Also, wear shade four in your crease. Even more, use it to line your lower lash lines. Then, if you want to go further, wear the trio-chrome shade on top of the rose gold, to line your eyes.
My Final Thoughts On The Chantecaille Spring Butterfly Collection…..
To begin with, the Spring Butterfly Collection is perfect for the Spring. One, the shades are soft, and ethereal. I love the three beautiful finishes. 
My favorite shade is the tri-chrome shade!
With any look, I would make sure to use this shade somewhere! Even more, I love the feel-good Lip Chic Formula. Above all, I love how the Lip Chic feels on my lips. It is glossy, but the formula is not sticky! If you have either Chantecaille Chic Cheek Highlighter Duos from last summer, either one will finish your look.
The thing I love the most about Chantecaille is the charitable side of their makeup. Makeup For a Cause!
