The Holidays Are Almost Here.  My favorite time of the year! For me this is when the best of ‘everything makeup’ arrives!  The best makeup kits, skincare kits, advent calendar kits are finally here. This is what we’ve been waiting for all year!  And the most beautiful shades of gorgeous reds, wines, and burgundys,  and golds are all on counters.  Pigmented, smokey eyes, and lots of sparkle and glitter, and luminous glowing powders and liquids!!!  Oh MY!!!!!  I Love The Holiday Collections, and THEY”RE HERE!!!!!!!!!  And I WANT THEM ALL!

Bobbi Brown is an amazing brand to start with.  They never disappoint! (Like Chanel did with their sky scrappers!)  They have lots of holiday going on, so I started with the Wine Eye Shadow Palette from the Chocolate and Wine Collection, with the Wine Nails from the collection and we must never forget all of those luxurious holiday Luxe Lipsticks !

I love everything about the Bobbi Brown Holiday Collection!  The Limited  Edition Eye Shadow Palette is superb!  The shades are pigmented and gorgeous.  I love the “wine” shade best, and I love that it also has three  eye liner shades in Bobbi’s most intensely pigmented ever eye liner formula!  And the four eye shadows and three eye liners are all in one gorgeous gold mirrored compact!  I also look forward to the many looks we can create from the wine palette.  I love the wine/burgundy color of Bobbi’s limited edition Nail Polish in Wine, a holiday exclusive, and the gorgeous, rich , high-gloss finish is perfect shade for the holidays!  The three shades of Luxe Lipsticks I chose, (out  of 30)  were Uber Rose, Bahama Brown and Tawny.  They are vibrant, bold and very pigmented shades.  Even after I washed my makeup off, my lips still felt soft and supple.  I love the new Luxe formula –  it  covers the fine lines on my lips and conditions  them and is comfortable at the same time!  The wine collection is gorgeous.  Any one of the items in the collection would make a great gift.  The colors scream HOLIDAY and are perfect for this most wonderful time of the year!  For parties, for shopping, for cozy nights around the fire, for lunch with Santa!  Just wear them and enjoy!

  • These eye shadow swatches are absolutely terrible. They’re not even in focus? The lighting is completely yellow…why even upload.

    • Hi Netty!
Yes, I agree with you that the eye shadow swatches are terrible in the Bobbi Brown Holiday Wine Eye Shadow…etc. My apologies. I am new not only at writing a blog, I am also really new at taking great photos. I have been working for a year with a tutor who has had to teach me all the computer skills, like moving photos (I had no idea how to do it) and finally this summer, we began to work on photos. In fact, in the beginning, I had someone take the photos for me (Bobbi Jean), but I am slowly learning how to watermark, and edit the photos, and enhance them. I have purchased a good camera (a Cannon T5) and am learning , slowly, how to take better pictures. I think it is beginning to pay off in my more recent blogs (at least I hope so). I work with the tutor every week for 2 hours, and photographing the products is right up there with learning about search engines, etc. I looked at your blog, and loved it! I think your pictures are amazing! I am a lot older than you, and I had NO computer skills, whatsoever. But, I do love makeup and skincare, and I have always been advisor to my girlfriends and family whenever they needed advice on which products I liked the best. I recently met the owner of Blue Mercury, and she started a line of cosmetics called Lune and Aster. Even she wanted to hear my take on which products I love. (My problem is I love most all of them!) So, I have been working really hard to improve my Blog, which is an act of love for me. I write six posts a week, and I am becoming more popular, and more successful. My daughters in law are my biggest fans, and are truly a huge help! There is never an event that I don’t have the four of them here, for me to do their makeup (mind you, I am not a makeup artist either!) I just love the products, and the skincare products as well. This has been a learning experience for me, my two year old son had to show me how to turn a computer on many years ago. My kids had no patience with me whatsoever, and couldn’t understand why it was so difficult for me to learn EVERY single thing, but I didn’t give up and found a tutor who has a lot of patience with me. I agree it has been a little rough (or a lot rough), but I had to start somewhere. I hope you will peak in from time to time to see that my pictures are slowly getting better. I also purchased the proper lighting boxes, etc, so I have better equipment now. Thank you so much, and I hope you understand that this didn’t come naturally to me, and I am still learning. But, I love what I am doing, and I think I will post a blog about my “terrible beginnings, and explain why my earlier blogs are improving. It is a work in progress. Please keep in touch, and again, thank you so much for reaching out to me!
