Illamasqua Nude Collection: Packaging
Formulas: Illamasqua Nude Collection
Illamasqua Nude Collection Iconic Chrome Eyeshadow Pots
The unique formula is a cream in the pot. In addition, the formula is a shimmery paste. Although, there is no need to use a glue base because it automatically sticks to your eyes. However, once the formula touches your skin, it slowly transforms into a long wearing powder. Furthermore, the formula includes lots of pigments. Finally, you can use the chrome pots for both eyes and lips!
Illamasqua Nude Collection Unveiled Artistry Eyeshadow Palette
First, the Unveiled Artistry Eyeshadow Palette has 12 highly pigmented matte and metallic Powder eyeshadow shades. As a result you can create standout, high impact looks. On the other hand, you can also create natural, smoky eye day-time looks
Illamasqua Nude Collection Beyond Powder
The unique . marbled highlighter starts off as a liquid. Next, the liquid ingredients go through a baking process to make the powder highlighter.. As a result, the marbled-powder becomes a unique highlighter. It creates a warm glow. Also, if you want a more intense look, apply Beyond Powder Wet. Moreover, you can use it on your body for a natural-looking bronze look. Also, dampen your eyeshadow brush and use it as a metallic, high-shine eyeshadow.
Illamasqua Nude Collection Lip Liner
The highly pigmented lip liners blend easily. The lip liner’s creamy texture makes it easy to use all over your lip. In this way, you can create an intense color. Also, the lip liner when used to line your lips, makes it so your lipstick won’t bleed.
Illamasqua Nude Collection AntiMatter Lipstick
Antimatter lipstick is a semi-matte, long-wearing lipstick with a smooth creamy texture. Therefore, it is easy to apply. You only need one stroke to get an opaque look. Also, the lipstick delivers a highly pigmented payoff.
Illamasqua Nude Collection Shades
Nude Lipliner/ Nude Lipstick
To begin with, the Nude Lip Liner comes in four shades: Raw, Exposed, Undressed, and Revealed. Each of the four shades is a shade of nude. I purchased the nude shade, Raw. It leans toward a pinkish nude shade.
Next, the AntiMatter Lipstick comes in seven shades.
The colors range from a flesh shade, a light pink, peach, shades of brown, a deep red, and a fuchsia pink shade.
Nude Highlighter, Bronzer, Eyeshadow
Then, the Nude Beyond Powders come in two shades, Risque, and Dare.
I purchased Risque. The reason is, Risque is marbled. As a result there are several colors that marble together to create Risque.
First, it has a warm rose undertone. Also, there is bronze, peach, deep pink, and light peach.
However, when the colors meld together they form a gorgeous warm bronze shade. The other Beyond Powder is a metallic deep peachy bronze shade.
Nude Chrome Eyeshadow Pots, Nude Eyeshadow Palette
Chrome Pots
The chrome pots come in four shades.
I purchased Provocative, a deep pink shimmery shade that has a chrome metallic finish.
Next, Mesmerizing, a bronze-gold shimmery shade with a chrome metallic finish.
And, I purchased Alluring, a shimmering champagne shade with a chrome metallic finish. The last shade, Captivating, is a light lilac shimmer with a chrome metallic finish.
The Unveiled Artistry Palette Comes In 12 Matte And Metallic Shades
Top Row Metallics
To begin with, Vivacity is a burgundy shade that has a shimmery metallic finish. I love this shade on the lids, in the crease to add definition, and used to line your lower lash line. Also, use it in your inner corners. I also like it as an eyelid shade.
Second, Bold is a Pop Pink shade with a shimmery metallic finish. I love this shade over the crease, on the outer corners of the eyes, as an eyelid shade, or use it to line . your lower lash lines.
Third, District, a mauve shimmer, has a shimmery metallic finish. Again, this shade looks great in the crease, as a transition shade, on your outer eyelids, and on the outer corners of your eyes. Also, use it to line your lower lash lines.
Fourth, Chutzpah, a copper shade that has a shimmery metallic finish. Use this shade on you eyelids. Also, use it to line your eyes, both upper and lower lash lines.
Zealous, a sand gold shade with a shimmery metallic finish. I love this shade on your eyelids, and on your lower lash lines. Also, wear it on the inner corners of your eyes.
Last, Fearless, a true gold shade that has a shimmery metallic finish. Wear Fearless on your eyelids. Also, use it as a lower lash liner.
Bottom Row Mattes
First, Empower, a brown shade, has a matte finish. I love to wear Empower as a crease shade. It is a great shade to add definition to your eyes. Therefore, use it in the outer corners of your eyes, and on your lower lash lines.
Second, Honour, a burgundy shade with a matte finish. Honour is a beautiful shade to wear all over your eyelids, and in your crease. Also, you can wear it on the outer corners of your eyes. Last, I would use it to line your lower lash lines.
Third, Muse, a light terra cotta shade, has a matte finish. I love this terra cotta shade in the crease, in the outer corners of your eyes. Also, I’d use it to line my lower lash lines.
Fourth, Poise, a light sand shade has a matte finish. First, I love Poise as an all over the eyelids shade. Next, wear it as a crease color. Last, line your bottom lashes with Poise.
Assured, a beige shade that has a matte finish. Assured is a light beige shade that I would wear all over my eyes as a base. Also, I like beige on the inner corners of the eyes and on your brow bones.
Finally, Spirit, an ivory shade that has a matte finish.
Illamasqua Nude Collection Last But Not Least……..
There are Many Nude Palettes On the Market
I’ve been a huge Illamasqua fan for years! Their formulas are vegan and cruelty free. Moreover, this Indie Brand from London is an innovative, high quality brand. Also, I love that the brand is a little edgier than some of the other high quality brands. First, I love that Illamasqua is a brand that is willing to take risks. As a result, when Illamasqua does a #Revolutionary Nude Collection, you better believe it will be more avant guard, edgy and, of course, revolutionary.
I have a lot of new nude palettes. For example, Natasha’s New Biba Palette is a gorgeous, all matte, nude palette. Also, Kevyn Aucoin’s Nude Pop is a colorful nude palette. Moreover, even Huda Beauty’s New Nude Palette has a lot going for it. Additionally, the newest Urban Decay Naked Reloaded palette, a remake of their original nude palette, Naked, is another nude palette with revamped, new nude shades.
There is Something Special about the Illamasqua Nude Collection
However, there is something special about the Illamasqua Palette. Maybe it is the way they put the metallics in one row, and the mattes in the other row? Also, could it be the way the palette was curated?
In addition, just for a second, think about the lipstick shades in the nude collection. A few of them are really not nudes at all! Or, are they revolutionary new nudes? One last thing, maybe Illamasqua is teaching us there is more to nude than a plain old nude shade!
A pop of Fuchsia, or a pop of Deep Red? Although, at the other end of their lipstick spectrum, there is a beautiful bright nude pink shade!! There are so many choices today. I think what I love most about the Illamasqua Collection is they want you to be Revolutionary. In other words, they want you to think outside of your box. Add a pop of color. Take more risks. Makeup should be fun. Don’t take nudes so seriously. Mix textures, and colors that you wouldn’t ordinarily use with nudes.
Finally…….
Revolutionize your Nude to be more than, just, Nude. Put your old nude looks on the shelf and let them collect dust!
I love hearing from you. Please tell me what you think of the direction nudes are going in? Do you want a nude to be just a nude? Or would you like your nudes to be more innovative and interesting?
Let me know what you think in the comment section below!
