Always cute! The Too Faced Tin Holiday Palettes get you excited for fall and the holiday season! Years ago, I used to go to the mall ,with my husband, at night. I knew when we were getting closer to the Cinnabon store. I could smell those delicious cinnabons ! Of course I had to buy a box to bring them home. Although, we couldn’t wait, and always split one on our way to the car! Well, that was then.
And this is now! Too Faced released a brand new, limited edition, tin-compact, holiday eyeshadow palette. Meet Cinnamon Swirl! Even more, the eyeshadows have that ever so slight scent of cinnabons. Yum! I can almost taste it! The palette’s 18 shades are sweet, spicy, warm and toasty! Lots of neutrals, with pops of pink and purple in creamy matte, metallic and sparkling finishes. Perfect for the fall. Perfect for the holidays! Perfect for gift-giving!
You can find the new, Limited Edition Too Faced Cinnamon Swirl Sweet and Spicy Eyeshadow Palette at Sephora, Ulta, Nordstroms, Selfridges, HSN, QVC, and on the Too Faced Website. Also, the New Cinnamon Swirl Eyeshadow Palette ( 0.44 oz. / 12.6g ) costs $49.
Packaging
Cinnamon Swirl comes packaged in a rectangular, metal tin. Pull up on the lid to open the case. The case has a magnetic closure. Therefore, to close the case, simply push down on the lid, and the strong magnet will do the rest. Inside, underneath the lid, is a rectangular mirror. On the other side of the palette are the 18 shades.
From the top row, there are six vertical rows of three shadows each. The first three vertical rows, from left to right, which is half the palette, are all neutral shades, except for one dusty pink shade. I call this the light side of the palette. Next, the second three vertical rows, the other half of the palette, with three shades each is the dark side of the palette. The shades are deeper on this side. Still, there are deeper neutrals on this side, plus a deep purple-black sparkle shade. and a bright fuchsia shade. The bright fuchsia shade is what makes this palette stand out from an all neutral lineup.
The Formula
Mostly, the shades are indeed richly pigmented. Therefore most shades give you one swipe payoff. The texture of most of the palette is buttery and creamy. Hence, the texture of most shades makes them easy to blend. Also, the shades that are not so pigmented are buildable. Also, there isn’t too much fallout with these shades. However, you have to expect some fallout with pressed powders. The shades don’t fade, or crease. The formula is talc-free, cruelty-free, and paraben-free.
