To begin with, I’ll be Unboxing Lucky Bag 2020. from Beautylish. If you don’t know, Lucky Bags mean Fukubukuros in Japanese. Furthermore, these sealed bags are a New Years Day Phenomenon. First, you purchase the bag. Inside the bag, could be makeup, clothing, toys, even electronics. Therefore, you know the jist of what is inside. However, you don’t know the details. For example, you know if the bag has makeup and beauty products in it. However, you don’t know what those items are. On one hand, you might be lucky and get the palette of your dreams. On the other hand, you might not be so lucky. You could get a bunch of products that you’d never use.
Beautylish has been offering Lucky Bags for a few years now. Of course, we know there is gonna be makeup and beauty items in the bag. However, we don’t know what we are going to get. Even more, my bag will not have the same things that your bag has. As a result, it is a mystery. Although, if you love a surprise, you are going to have fun seeing what is inside your bag.
Finally, I purchased my first Lucky Bag in 2017. In addition, I was lucky enough to get a Lucky Bag in 2018! However, I was too late to get a 2019 Lucky Bag. The reason is, they sell out fast. Hence, this year, I thought I was ahead of the game. However, when I went online to Beautylish, they had already sold out of the elite Lucky bag, that costs $150. However, the elite bag has more than $300 worth of products in it. But, there is another bag, for $75. And, that bag gives you products worth at least $150. Above all, I was Lucky to Get The $75 2020 Lucky Bag! So, next year, the day after Christmas, is when the Lucky Bags go on sale at Beautylish. Get on early, so you don’t miss out!

To continue, the first item in my Lucky Box is Anastasia’s Riviera Eyeshadow Palette. First, I do love the palette. However, I already own it. Therefore, I am going to use it in my next giveaway. Although, you can read my old review here. Also, here is a look at the eyeshadows.
Finally, I am going to keep a tab, to see what each product costs. The reason I do this is because we have to make sure the products add up to at least $150.
The Anastasia Riviera Eyeshadow Palette costs $45. Me thinks we’re off to a good start!

Oooops, It happened again! I have a few of these Confession Lipsticks. So, read my review Here. For one thing, I’d have to dig up the ones I already have to see if the color is the same. And, if it is, Lucky for one of you! I’ll give this one away too!

It’s a cute idea. I’m not a big fan of hair products. But, I’ll keep it, and give it to my daughter-in-law when she comes for a visit.

First of all, my hair is really straight. Although, I love when I go to the beach, and my hair waves up. Therefore, this is gonna be a good one for me. I hope it works! I happen to love Oribe products. They smell really good too! In addition, the products I’ve tried really work!
I forgot to mention, this spray is a purse size. I think it is airplane worthy! That might be a good reason for me to keep it. Although, I am sure one of my four daughters in law may want it. I love them all so much, I can’t say no to them!
Moreover, the Oribe Apres Beach Hair Spray in the purse size costs $22.
The Last Unboxing: Lucky Bag 2020 Item #7 (my lucky number!)
Finally, Wayne’s 05 Precision Detail Brush costs $20.
I knew it would be my favorite mystery gift! First, Wayne Goss is my makeup Guru! I just love everything he does. So, I do own some of his makeup brushes already. But, I don’t own this one. Therefore, I looked it up, and discovered it is Wayne’s smallest brush. According to Guru Wayne, this precision detail brush is his all star brush. The reason is, it can do tricky things. For example, you can use the brush to highlight the hard to get inner corners of your eyes. Also, Wayne loves to use this brush to apply khol eyeliner, so that it doesn’t get into your eyes. For me, it is just a great brush! So, my Lucky Bag 2020 was worth the $75 after all!
Last But Not Least………
To begin with, let’s add up the prices of the 7 items. $45+$36+$39+$44+$29+$22+$20=$235 And the Lucky Bag cost $75. $235-$75=$160
For $75, I got an additional $160 worth of products! All in a days work!
Next year I am going to try to wake up early the day after Christmas. It is not going to be easy because, those who know me know I have a big Christmas party here. So, it goes without saying, I am always exhausted for at least a week after Xmas. But, I’m really going to try to get the upgraded box.
Also, because I am a makeup blogger, and product reviewer, I review a lot of products. Since I purchase all of my own products, I have most of the products that I would like. Therefore, it isn’t a surprise that I have a few of the Beautylish products. The reason is, I really love Beautylish, and buy a lot of my products on their website. But, for those of you who don’t purchase everything out there, I know you will love the mystery and excitement of unboxing a lucky bag!
