Come on in to see the Becca X Barbie Ferreira Prismatic Holiday 2020 Palette. First, the collaboration between Becca and Barbie Ferreira created a five shade palette for face and eyes. Moreover, this palette isn’t a traditional, soft powder, Becca palette. For one thing, the palette colors are bold. Also,the shades create iridescent light. According to Becca X Barbie Ferreira, you can use the Prismatica Palette to highlight, blush, bronze and define your face and eyes. Even more, you will be able to create multi-dimensional holiday looks. In fact, Becca teamed up with Ferreira because Ferreira wants to embrace change! In addition, Ferreira believes women should be “seen, valued and beautiful”.
You can find the Becca X Ferreira Prismatica Face and Eye Palette at Ulta, and on the Becca Cosmetics Website. Additionally, Prismatica (1.05 oz./ .30g) originally sold for $42. However, now it is on sale at both Ulta and the Becca Website for $21.
The Becca X Barbie Ferreira Holliday 2020 Prismatica Palette Packaging
To start with, the packaging is a multi-colored box with reflective iridescent prisms of light. Additionally, the top of the palette is dissected into two triangles. 
Therefore, to open, lift up one triangle from the center of the palette. Then, lift up the other triangle. 
Also, the triangled lids are thick and chunky. On the inside of each triangle is a smaller triangular mirror.
I am not loving the two mirrors inside the palette. First, they are really small. The triangles are a cute idea. However, they don’t work too well as mirrors. Maybe, you can apply a lipstick while using the mirror. Yet,it would be difficult to do your whole face with these mirrors. The mirrors sit on opposite ends of the palette!
Evenmore,the center of the two triangles is where the shades lie. The white shade in the center of the palette is a “topcoat.” The two shades on either side of the topcoat are the colors you can work with.
The Formula For The Becca X Barbie Ferreira Holiday Prismatica Palette
First,the Prismatic Palette has a pressed powder formula. Also,the powders feel soft and buttery. More,there was very little powder fallout! So,it’s not a messy palette. Even more,new prismatic pigments are included in the formula. As a result,, each shade is able to refract light and reflect sheen. Next, the iridescent topper has a sheer base, and includes reflective pearls. The powders are easy to blend. Also, the shades are easy to layer. The formula is cruelty free.
The Prismatica Face And Eye Palette Shades
To begin with, the palette includes 5 shades. One of the shades is a topper. The other four shades can be used on your face and eyes.
Prismify
First, Prismify, a warm vanilla shade, has a shimmering finish. This shade is the perfect highlighter. Wear it on your eyes, on the inner corners and on the brow bone. Also, you can wear it on all the high points of your face. A quick note, you can apply this highlighter with a light hand, for a less intense look. Although,if you use a heavier hand, you will get a serious glow. Also, it will give your skin a wet look.
Glimmer
Next, Glimmer, a bronze shade,has a shimmering finish. This shade can be worn as a bronzer. Although, use a light hand, so you don’t look too orange. In fact, I wore it on the apples of my cheeks. But,I used a light hand, and blended the bronzer out.Also, I had the Prismify highlighter on my cheek bones. Then, I put the Prismify on my eyelids, and in the inner corners of my eyes. Next, I put the bronze Glimmer in my crease. Also,I put Glimmer on the outer corners of my eyes. It gave me a beautiful,natural glow. In fact, I was more impressed with the palette than I thought I would be.
Hustle
Third, Hustle, a plum shade, has a shimmering finish. Hustle is a pretty shade. However, it is the least versatile shade in the palette. I can’t see this plum shimmer worn on the face. Although, it looks amazing worn on the eyelids.
Hued
Fourth, Hued, a warm rose shade, has a shimmering finish. First, I love this shade worn on the apples of the cheeks. Then, continue with your brush and bring the warm rose shade up to your temples. It is really beautiful.Also, wear Hued on your eyelids and bring it up to the crease.
Refract
Last, Refract is an iridescent topper shade. In other words, you can wear this topper on top of any of the other shades in this palette. Refract has a clear, transparent base. And, refract has a reflective pearl finish. You could wear it alone,foran iridescent shimmering eye. However, it is meant to go on top of the other shades for a more iridescent, multi-dimensional look.
My Final Thoughts On The Becca X Barbie Ferreira Prismatic Face and Eye Holiday Palette…..
First, I was pleasantly surprised with this palette. I thought it would be too bold, and too much! However, I can admit when I’m wrong. In fact, I really liked the way Prismify, Glimmer, and Hued gave me a stunning glow. I blended them out, so the color was spot on. It wasn’t blinding at all. Instead,it was just a beautiful shimmer,and sheen.
So, for half the price, this palette is worth it,and then some.
