Victoria Beckham has streamlined her makeup line. First, are her Smokey Eye Brick Eyeshadow Palettes. Furthermore, she added a rejuvinating moisturizing primer that doubles as amazing skincare. Now, for the lips , Victoria has come out with one look. In the past, when she was Posh Spice, Victoria signature lip shade has been a nude matte lip. Moreover, it comes as no surprise that the Victoria Beckham Bitten Lip Tint is her only lip shade. Hence it is a universal rosy shade. Therefore, it is supposed to look good on everyone. Moreover, Bitten Lip Tint is sheer and natural-looking. The rosy shade gives your lips a flush of color. In fact, it looks like just bitten lips.
Even more, Victoria loves the look a full lip. In order to get fuller lips, she also has the Victoria Beckham LIp Definer Pencil. Therefore, you can line your lip and create a fuller-looking lip. Then, you can color in your lip with Bitten Lip Tint.
Packaging For Victoria Beckham Bitten Lip Tint and Lip Definer
The VB Bitten Lip Tint
To begin with, the Bitten Lip tint comes in what looks like a mascara tube. First, the tube is in a thick brown tube with gold lettering.
Also, the lid, in VB’s signature faux – tortoiseshell, is a twist on, twist off lid.
I’m not sure, but the tube feels like it could be made out of metal. For one thing, it feels weighty. Also, it feels cold to the touch. Although, it could be a heavy weight coating over plastic.
The lid doubles as an applicator. Furthermore, the applicator has a precise doe-foot that lends to an easy application.
Use the angled tip of the applicator to define your Cupid’s bow.
The VB Lip Definer in 04
Even more, the VB Lip Definer is a pencil. Therefore, the downside of a lip pencil, is it needs to be sharpened. And, usually, you need the right pencil sharpener. I happen to have the Victoria Beckham pencil sharpener, that works perfectly, to sharpen the pencil. The lid feels like the same material that was used for the Bitten Lip Tint. Again, the lid feels substantial, and weighty. Also, it feels cold. Could it be metal? Or, it is something else?
The Formulas For VB’s Bitten Lip Tint and Lip Definer
Bitten Lip Tint Formula
The Key ingredients in the Bitten Lip Tint Formula are Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane. These ingredients plump and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on your lips. In this way, you’ll have a smoother surface . Also, the plant-based squalane is an emollient that prevents moisture loss and restores the suppleness of the skin. Even more, Mustard Sprout Extract also hydrates and plumps your lips.
I love that the Lip Tint is packed with ingredients that will treat your lips throughout the day. Furthermore, it has the moisturizing benefits of a serum. Moreover, the formula has a lightweight, gel-like texture. The Lip Tint stays in place. Because it is so hydrating, your lips will never feel dry, tight, or sticky.
Lip Definer 04 Formula
The key ingredients in the Lip Definer Formula are Vitamin E, and Palmitoyl Tripeptide 1. First, Vitamin E is included because it conditions your lips. Then, Palmitoyl Tripeptide 1 helps reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles around your mouth. Even more, the formula is waterproof. Additionally, it has a smooth, creamy texture designed to create fuller looking lips. And, it gives you a precise, tug-free application. Finally, it won’t feather.
The Bitten Lip Tint and Lip Definer Shades
The shade is Bitten. For one thing, Bitten is a universal shade. Furthermore, it is a gel-like tint. What it does is create the perfect nude lip for all skin tones. In addition, this. sheer, hint of a natural rosy shade, looks like your lips were freshly bitten.
The Lip Definer comes in 6 shades. You can match the six shades to your lip tone. Or, you can get a deeper Lip Definer to create a contrast. I chose the shade o4.
First of all, shade 04 is an exact match to the shade Bitten. As a result, I would line my lips, and color them in, with 04 Lip Definer. Then, I would apply Bitten Lip Tip all over the lips. If I wanted a contrast, deeper shade, I would use 05, or for the deepest shade, 06. The reason is, shades 01, 02, and 03 are nude variations on the peach, or pink side. And, these three shades are more for fair, or light skin tones.
My Final Thoughts on The Bitten Lip Tint and Lip Definer…..
First, I don’t know what it will look like on your lips. However, on my lips, Bitten really looks like my lips had just been bitten. It is a beautiful rosy color on me. Although, swatched on my hand, Bitten looks more nude-brown. So, I am anxious to hear what your lips look like! I do love the formula. Usually, lip tints end up feeling dry on my lips. Then, the lip tint starts to flake off! However, the Bitten Lip Tint looks really natural , even though it has a matte finish. Unfortunately, it didn’t last as long as I would have thought it would. One reason could have been that I licked it off. Again, I don’t remember licking my lips, but you never know. Next, I ate dinner, and drank a glass of water. This too could have made the tint wear off faster.
For me, every once in a while, I’ll have a no-makeup day. This would probably be the only time I’d wear the Bitten Lip Tint. I prefer more color, and a satin lipstick finish. Yet, this does look pretty. Especially, if I wear the 04 Lip Definer, which is super creamy, it lasts longer, looks deeper, and is even prettier. As a result, I would wear this look more often. I love the way the liner feels on my lips, more than the feel of the lip tint, worn alone, on my lips.
Finally, I would love to see the lip tint in some brighter colors. Not everyone looks good in a dark, nude lip.
PS
