First, Dior Cosmetics Creative Director, Peter Phillips’ inspiration was the iridescence of bird feathers. Hence the name,of the collection, Birds Of A Feather. Furthermore, Phillips created the stars of the collection, two Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palettes. One Palette, 459 Night Bird , features peacock shades. The other Palette, 659 Early Bird, features shades of brown, pink and beige.
Also, the Birds of a Feather Collection includes two Limited Edition Rouge Blushes. One blush, 468 Nude Glide, is a rosy taupe shade., The other blush , 462 Coral Flight,is a vibrant coral shade. Last, in the collection, Rouge Graphist Lip Pencil comes in three colors. First, 004 Vibrant Nude, is a nude with a rosewood shimmer. Next, 344 Vibrant Coral, is a rosy coral shade. Last, Vibrant Plum, is a plum shade.

The Birds of a Feather Collection 5 Couleurs Couture Palette Early Bird
First, the Dior Birds Of A Feather Collection Fall 2021 Packaging is also signature Dior Cosmetics packaging. Hence, the shiny dark blue boxes, all have silver writing. Next, the eyeshadow palette plastic compact is also signature Dior Blue, with silver writing. Dark blue velvet dust bags come with the compacts.
Also, the compact is an easy to work, push the skinny silver bar down, and the compact will open. 
To close, simply push down on the lid of the compact until you hear the click. Once you hear that click, the compact is closed, and secure.
Inside, the compact includes a nice, big mirror underneath the compact lid. 
Opposite the mirror are five eyeshadow pans, and two dual-ended applicators.
One last thought, the 5 Couleurs Couture Palettes are signature Dior. There are two shades at the top, one highlighter in the middle, and two shades on the bottom. Also important, these palettes are designed to create multiple looks. However, two looks are laid out for you. Top shades left and right , plus the center shade, create your soft look. Then, the left and right bottom shades, plus the shade in the center of the palette, create your intense look!
The Birds of a Feather Rouge Blush Palette Coral Flight
Next, the Rouge Blush Birds Of A Feather is also packaged in a plastic compact that opens and closes as does the eyeshadow palette. 
Also, inside, is a nice, large mirror on one side. Opposite the mirror, is the blush pan. Also included is a blush brush.
Both the eyeshadows, and the blush, are imprinted with a soft, limited edition, delicate feather pattern. The reason is, the feather pattern is in keeping with the Birds Of A Feather Collection.

To begin with, the five eyeshadows have a fine powder formula. Therefore, the shades feel silky, and creamy. As a result, the shades are easy to apply. And, the shadows are buildable and blendable. Even more, the texture of the shadows is very comfortable. Also, the shadows don’t crease, nor do they migrate. Finally, the shades have longwearing color intensity. In addition, the shades come in matte, metallic, highlighter, and duochromatic finishes.
Birds of a Feather Collection Early Bird Palette Shades
All of the 5 Couleurs Couture Dior Palettes have two built in looks. 
However, that is not to say that you can’t go out of the box, and create your own looks with these five shades.
Natural Look
First, Top Left, your dark color, a warm, medium red shade, has a metallic finish. Next, Top Right, your medium shade, a warm. light pewter shade, has a metallic finish. The Middle shade in the palette, a light pink shade, has a frosted pearl finish. First, apply the Top Right Pewter shade all over your eyelids. Then, line and define your eyes with the Top Left Red shade. Finally, highlight with the Middle Shade, light pink with a frosted pearl finish. This look is your natural look. More of a day look.
Intense Look
First, Bottom Right, a warm, deep butterscotch shade, has a satin finish. Wear this medium shade all over your eyelids. Next, Bottom Right, a warm blackened plum shade, has a metallic finish. Wear this blackened plum shade, your dark shade, to line and define your eyes. Last, wear the middle shade, the light pink with a frosted pearl finish, to highlight your eyes. One, wear it in the inner corners of your eyes. Two, highlight under the arch of your brow, on your brow bone.

First, the Rouge Blush is formulated with intense, ultra-pigmented, buildable color. Therefore, you’ll get intense color payoff.

One, Coral Flight a rosy coral shade, has a healthy glowing finish.
Also, use your blush, and brush to create three effects. 
First, if you want a natural effect, begin by applying the blush at the tops of your cheeks. Then, blend the blush downwards. Second, if you are looking for a healthy glow effect, apply the blush on the apples of your cheeks. In order to apply and blend the blush on the apples of your cheeks, use a circular motion with the brush. Last, if you. want a sculpting, illuminating effect, apply the blush at the tops of the cheeks, blending out towards the temple and over the brow arch.

As a result, , the lipstick, in pencil form, allows a precision application. Additionally, the lipstick is long-wearing. Finally, you can wear the lipstick as a base, with another lipstick on top, for a bolder look. In fact, that is exactly how we wore our lipsticks in the 1980s.

First, Vibrant Coral, a luminous rosy coral shade, has a matte finish. Next, Vibrant Plum, a luminous plum shade, has a matte finish.
My Final Thoughts On The Dior Birds Of A Feather Collection Fall 2021….
Keep in mind that Dior is not overly pigmented like Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona. Instead, Dior is a more refined palette. In fact, it is more glow than show.
Also, you are never going to achieve a great color payoff with these palette. However, whatever color you do get, matched with the ultra-refined shimmering finish, will give you the most beautiful radiance. The key word here is refined! Also, the Lip Crayon Lipsticks are the opposite of the eyeshadows. For one thing, the intense lipsticks are vibrant. They are gorgeous. Don’t misunderstand, I do love the Dior Birds of a Feather Collection. One reason I love it are the autumnal shades. It is the perfect fall collection. Finally, the collection is beautiful. I am loving the Birds of a Feather theme. Especially because I have three gorgeous, wonderful, colorful birds of my own!
