In fact, Bridgerton teamed up with Pat McGrath Labs to supply all of the makeup for the show, including their range of cult-status complexion products that create a next-level glow and their eyeshadow palettes, which boast unrivalled pigment payoff. We are the lucky ones, for a limited time, we have the opportunity to own some of the key makeup shades from the Bridgerton Series – Bridgerton Season one and two. You can read my review of Pat McGrath X Bridgerton Season 2 The Mothership Belle of the Ball Eyeshadow Palette. Also in the collection are 7 Satin-Allure Lipsticks, Two Body Shimmer Shades, and a Black Velvet Khol Eyeliner. I am going to review the Pat McGrath X Bridgerton 2 Blushing Delights Blush and Highlighter Palette, which includes three blushes and one highlighter, here.
First, you can purchase the entire Pat McGrath X Bridgerton 2 Collection on the Pat McGrath Website.. Soon, you will be able to find the palette at Sephora. The PM X Bridgerton 2 Blushing Delights Blush and Highlighter Palette ( 0.26 oz./7.5g ) costs $60.
The Blush and Highlighter Palette comes packaged in a stiff cardboard, round box. The box is rather large, and can be used as a keepsake box. It is adorned in Regency Era Motifs, including pearls, a cameo, roses and a crown! To open the box, you simply pull off the lid. Be careful to find the tape that attaches the lid to the box, and carefully remove it before opening the lid. Inside is a pretty pink-pin-cushion pillow design. Also, there are four pans. The three blush pans are round, and the blush is dome shaped, sort of reminds me of a smaller version of a Chanel Blush. The fourth pan, a heart shape, hold a marbleized highlighter.
The baked blush formula, although not new, is new for Pat McGrath. The talc-free formula, with multidimensional peal finishes, is rich with PM pigments. The formula has a silky, lightweight feel, that easily glides on your cheeks. Even more, the blush is easy to build for more intensity, and very blendable. There is no talc in the formula. Glycerin and Squalane are in the blush formula to make them glide easily. Also, these ingredients are skin identicals, which means, Squalane is an important skin identical ingredient, and glycerin, also a skin identical, natural moisturizer. Both ingredients are found in our skin. Some of the shades have multidimensional pearl finishes.
The Highlighter Shade
The highlighter shade is called Champagne Venus. This is the one shade that comes in the shape of a heart, and appears to have a marbleized effect.
Champagne Venus
Champagne Venus, a tonal gold, with bronze pearls, has a glimmering, sparkling finish.
Use this shade on the inner corners of your eyes, on your brow bones, or wear it over the eyeshadow shades for more multidimensional looks.
The Blush Shades
The Blush Shades are Budding Romance, Berry Brilliance, and Aphrodisia. The blush shades can be worn on their on, or you can mix them together.
Budding Romance
Budding Romance, a cool-toned, pink shade, has a matte finish.
Berry Brilliance
Berry Brilliance, a cool-toned, deep orchid berry shade, has a glowing, radiant finish.
Aphrodisia
Aphrodesia, a bright coral rose with golden shimmer, has a radiant pearl finish.
I’m loving the Pat McGrath X Bridgerton 2 Collection. The pigments and shades are gorgeous.
The formulas are outstanding. Pat McGrath , my favorite makeup, has done it again. Hurry, before the collection sells out.
