Everyone Loves The Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette. To begin with, the Afterglow Collection is brand new Nars Spring 2020 Makeup. Furthermore, the Afterglow Collection also includes ten new colors in Nars IconicBlush, the Overlust Cheek Palette, and Afterglow Lip balm. For one thing, Nars came out with a ton of Holiday Palettes,. They included both eyeshadow and blush palettes. Furthermore, all of these palettes were beauties. Although, the most fanfare has been for the new Afterglow Spring 2020 Collection. Even more, the biggest hit of all is the Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette. First, it is a 12 pan palette. Even more, all twelve shades are brand new.
You can find the Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette, and the rest of the Afterglow Collection at Sephora and on the Nars Cosmetics Website. Moreover, the price of the palette is $59, for 12 X 0.04oz / 1.4g of shadow.
What Makes The Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette So Well Loved?
For one thing, one of the new makeup trends for 2020 is the resurgence of the 80s. Again! And, the Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette has solid washes of ambers, pinks and peaches. Furthermore, wear these shades all over your eye lid. Start at your upper lash line and take it up to your brows. In addition, there are two ways you can wear this palette. First, you can do this 80’s look. In this way, you create a sheer wash of color. Although, there is another way! If you’re not afraid to use color, apply these shades with a heavy hand. Make them as intense as you want. Moreover, you can layer different shades, and blend different shades together. In this way, you’ll create an “Afterglow!”
The Packaging For The Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette
To begin with, the outside cover of the palette is reflective . I love the orangey-red metallic cover. Also, I love that Nars has added dimension to their covers. Therefore, the cover has raised “waves, that look like crinkled paper.”
Inside, there is a large mirror. Opposite the mirror are the 12 pans of eyeshadow shades. When you shut the palette, you’ll hear a click. This means the palette is securely shut. So, don’t be afraid to travel with it.
On the back of the black outer box are the ingredients, and a picture of the eyeshadows.
Furthermore, on back of the palette are the shade names.
The Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette Formula
You never know with the Nars Formulas. Sometimes, the Nars formula is a hit. On the other hand, the formula can be a miss. In this case, The Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette Formula is a big hit! First of all, the quality of the shadows is excellent. The rich pigments in the shades are super blendable. Also, you can layer the shades. Furthermore, the matte formula is as buttery and creamy as it gets. Even more, the colors really do glow. So, this time, Nars got the formula right. Every Shade in this palette is wearable. And, of course, I love the glow.
Besides the matte shades, the palette has satin, shimmers, and metallic finishes. One thing about Nars eyeshadows is, they are high-performance formulas that were created to be lightweight, for increased blend ability and instant payoff. As a result, expect fallout. Again, I love to repeat what Wayne Goss, (My favorite makeup Guru) says about eyeshadow fallout. “Eyeshadows will have fallout. So, expect it. You can’t avoid it. After all, they are pressed powders, and powders have fallout!” I love my Wayne!!!! And, whatever Wayne says, he is my gospel.
