Ciate London’s Glow – To Illuminating Blush ($26) Brightens and adds a Pop of Color to your cheeks. It comes in five shades : Matchmaker is a burnt pink, In Too Deep is a lavender pink, Date Night is an amber pink, Summer Love is an apricot pink, and Baby Doll is a Rose Pink.
I purchased Date Night. The amber pink shade is perfect for olive or tanned skin.
I am loving the Glow- To Illuminating Blush in the Amber Shade, Date Night. To me, the formula lies somewhere between a cream and a powder. It is almost mousse-like.
Each blush looks unique because of the way the highlighter is dispersed into the blush pigment, even though there is the exact same amount of pigment and highlighter in every illuminating blush.
The compact is really beautiful. It has the Ciate London logo on the bottom imprinted in gold, and there are gold and silver glistening stars dispersed on what appears to be an ecru shade of enamel lid of the compact.
The back of the compact looks like stainless steel.
The inside of the palette is the beautiful design consisting of pigment, and highlight, which is dispersed in equal amounts, and no two designs are exactly the same. There is a mirror on the underside of the lid, inside the compact. It is supposed to be long-wearing. For how long, I do not know. It lasted a fairly long time, but it was no eight full hours. The good thing is, the compact in pint-sized, and will fit in even the smallest purse. But do not be alarmed that you are not getting enough product for your money. There are four grams of product in each compact, which is a decent amount of illuminating blush. What you don’t realize is, the blush is not pressed down flat into the compact. It has an almost dome effect. And that is where that extra product is. Surprise ! It is three dimensional, it is not flat !
It looks like a healthy looking flush fused with an illuminating highlight. You can apply it for a subtle, natural flush, or you can layer it for a more intense, dramatic cheek. You can even try wearing it as an eye shadow!
If you want more highlight, swirl your brush over the areas where there is more highlight. If you want more blush, swirl your brush over the pigmented blush areas. If you want an illuminated flush, swirl your brush over the whole compact. It is the perfect luminous flush for summer. I really love the Ciate London brand. In the US it is sold exclusively at Sephora. These illuminating blushers are new for Summer 2017! They all look beautiful !
