Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist

Is there something misting in your skincare regime? I am a huge Caudalie fan, and use the Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist on my face and body.  Aside from summer time when it’s scorchingly hot and humid, a refreshing spray of cooling grape water can be a godsend,  there are other reasons you need a face mist!  No matter how many models claim that drinking lots of water is what makes their skin so clear (a healthy balanced diet AND staying hydrated will do that), you probably won’t be able to drink enough water to hydrate your skin from the inside. That’s where facial mists come in. Your skin is like a sponge.  Mist yourself and your skin will absorb the moisture.  The great thing about Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing FaceMist is it is much more versatile than just quenching thirsty skin.

I love using Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist to fill in the gap between skin care steps. What happens when you wash your face?  I’ll bet your face doesn’t not think about the fact that the water you’re washing with is the key ingredient that gives your skin moisture . However, after cleansing , I tend to blot whatever water is left on my skin.  Therefore, my skin has not absorbed  the water.  I use to wait to wash my face last, jump out of the shower, and throw serum on my face.  However, the water on my face  evaporated within seconds. After that, the serums and moisturizers I applied, just sat on top of my skin, not working to their full capacity – since most moisturizers are meant to seal in moisture rather than create it.

Giving your face a good spray with thermal water, rose water, or grape water is not only refreshing and calming to your skin, it lays a fine layer of moisture on your skin to prep and prime it to absorb all your serums and moisturizer the way they’re supposed to be absorbed. In terms of makeup,  When applying foundation I mist a light layer of the Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist over my face, and then I spot-dab my concealer or foundation. This allows me to moisturize and cover the area without highlighting imperfections.  Also, I mist my beauty blender and dab my foundation on, which makes it blend  flawlessly into my skin, no dry patches, no blemishes!  When I am finished, I mist my face to set my makeup.  I love the Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist because you can use it on sensitive skin, it is an antioxidant, and it soothes and moisturizes your skin.

You can find Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist at Sephora, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Blue Mercury, and on the Caudalie Website.  It comes in 2 sizes, Mini (2.5 oz. / 75 mL) costs $10.  Also it comes in Standard (6.7 oz. / 200 mL ) costs $18.

The packaging is attractive, minimalistic, and to the point.  It comes in a white spray can, with grey writing and light green embellishments.  The lid is plastic, Wherever possible Caudalie is part of the 1% Planet Movement, donating 1% of their global sales to NOP’s that work to protect the environment.  Caudalie packaging is made from recycled paper, and the brand uses recycled plastic or plant-based plastic, and they cooperate with the Natural Forest Foundation.  Caudalie believes that “people shouldn’t feel bad about the planet when indulging themselves with beauty products because of packaging and waste.”  The brand is pushing boundaries to produce and present their products in the most eco-conscious and sustainable way.

The formula is a light and airy, fine mist spray.  The spray is super fine, and it applies evenly.  It just melts into your skin like it is a part of your skin.  Included in the ingredients, Grape juice and Grape water, an important player, is filled with antioxidants.  I love how hydrating it makes my skin feel.  Your skin will feel refreshed!  And, it adds a layer of nutrients to the skin.  The Hydrating Face Mist immediately increases your skin’s hydration.  It actually improves the effectiveness of your serums and moisturizes,  which will seep much deeper (like a sponge) into your skin.  Your skin will look plump and hydrated.
