Glow From Within, Glass Skin, illuminating skin, radiant skin, and the list goes on and on. Why? Because, this is what women strive to get. Basically, we all want our skin to look healthy! And, when our skin is healthy, we know it because it glows! Furthermore, makeup and skincare brands create products that make our skin glow. Isn’t that obvious? All of the makeup brands have powders, creams and liquids that strobe, highlight and glow. Moreover, they have skincare that hydrates and illuminates the skin. Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm gives us the “Bobbi Brown Glow”. To explain, the BB Extra Moisture Illuminating Moisture Balm is a skincare-illuminating hybrid that helps mimic our skin’s natural glow. And, when skin is healthy, it glows!
You can find the BB Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm on the Bobbi Brown Website, Sephora, Blue Mercury, Macys, Nordstroms, and Birch Box. The BB Illuminating Moisture Balm retails for $68.
Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm Packaging
The Illuminating Moisture Balm comes in a plastic bottle.
The product is dispensed with a pump. First, the pump is inside of the bottle’s lid.
In order to open the pump, you need to twist the lid to the right.
Then, the pump will twist up, and you will hear it lock into place. Next, press the pump down to dispense the balm.
Afterwards, turn the lid to the left.
As a result, the pump will twist back down. I love this type of packaging. Since the pump sits snugly inside of the lid, there is no way that it can leak product, spill or make a mess. Therefore, this type of packaging is easy to travel with.
Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm Formula
First, the formula gives you immediate, and long-term results. To start with, reflective pearls immediately add a healthy radiance to your skin. In other words, it reflects light. It does not give you a strobing, glittering glow. Use it under your foundation and it makes a great face primer. In this way, it also gives the skin more luminosity. Additionally, you can mix it with your foundation. Moreover, you can use the balm balm as your moisturizer. Finally, you can use it to highlight the high points of your face, on top of your foundation.
The ingredients included coffee seed extract to help strengthen the skin. Also, Shea Butter helps protect your skin’s natural barrier. Lychee Extract and Caffeine will energize your skin in order to replenish and energize a dull, tired complexion.
Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm Shades
The Illuminating Moisture Balm comes in three shades. First, is Pink Glow, a natural pink glow with ultra-fine pearl pigments.
I purchased Bare Glow, a bare glow with ultra-fine pearl pigments.
I also purchased Golden Glow, a natural golden-bronze glow with ultra-fine pigments.
Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm Last But Not Least…..
I realize that the moisturizing balm is very expensive. However, you need half a pump to highlight your face. Also, you would need one-to-two pumps to use it as a primer before makeup. What I love most about it is, it gives immediate results. For example, the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes disappeared. Although, over time you see long-term skin-improving results. Also, you can wear the balm alone as an illuminating primer. On the other hand, you can wear it on top of your makeup to customize the perfect natural glow. It delivers dewy, incandescent skin on contact.
Also, there is no glitter, or sparkle. Instead, the ingredients are more high-end than other brands that have similar products. As a result, the balm feels more luxurious. Also, it feels thicker. It is definitely a more “grown up” product as a result of the quality that other hybrids don’t have.
So, you get short term radiance, and an immediate boost of moisture. It makes you skin feel smooth. Therefore, it makes a great makeup base. In the long run, your skin will start to improve. Therefore, you will see that your skin has more long-term radiance. You can also use it on your neck, shoulders and decollete. What kind of radiance do you like? What products do you use to get that radiance? Let me know what you think in the comment section below. I love hearing from you, so stop by and say hi if you have the chance!
