Don’t you just love Halloween? I love to decorate my whole house with Halloween decorations, fill it up with lots of candy, and light Pumpkin Spice candles to breathe in that awesome scent! It’s fun to dress up and go to a Halloween Party. I also love staying home and watching Rocky Horror Picture Show – always a favorite of mine! This is the weekend before Halloween, so there are lots of parties everywhere. What are you going to be for Halloween?

Bitter Lace Beauty, the innovative brand that created the Prism Rainbow Highlighter caused a big Frenzy over at Instagram – they sold out in seconds, and created a “we want it, we need it, we have to have it, NOW” demand for more and more highlighters. The creator , Jenna Georgescu, has just released her new Limited Edition Halloween Highlighters that are”seasonal colors” for the Halloween season. This collection is thought of as the new “Prism Rainbow Highlighter”. Included in the collection – Four of the shades are pressed highlighters in a matte black and red compact, they each sell for ($28). The highlighting “potion” ,in a glass skull bottle with a dropper, the first liquid highlighter for Bitter Lace Beauty, sells for ($30). You can by the set of 5, it includes the 4 pressed compacts, and the liquid skull, the whole highlighter set is ($132).
The Four Pans of Pressed Highlighters:
Hocus Pocus – an exciting blend of purple, green and orange, that when swirled together blend into a gorgeous lilac shade that could even be worn as a beautiful blush.
A tinge of purple again
The Next Supreme – it was inspired by American Horror Story’s “The Coven”. It creates a murky silver sheen that has a touch of green and purple that is like a duo-chrome, because it has a purple to intense green shift.
Toothache – designed to emulate candy corn, blend together the silver, orange and yellow. When blended together, the candy corn becomes a gorgeous shimmering yellow-gold.
Slay – is the most interesting of the four pressed pans , it is referred to as a killuminator because it is the murder-inspired highlighter. It is a pearl base with faux blood splattered in the pan. This touch of rouge mixed with the pearl blend to a subtle tinted rosy hue. Of course, killuminator creates a “creepy” red-gold tint!
The Liquid Highlighter Highlighter Skull Potion:

Put A Spell On You is the first liquid highlighter created in the Bitter Lace Beauty line. It is a witch hazel infused highlighting potion. It is a peal white base that has an extremely iridescent shimmering finish, and flecks of gold and purple – the formula has larger shimmers that give more of a sparkling glow. This potion has a scent of juicy plum, whipped caramel cream, artisan Bourbon vanilla, and jasmine blossoms. Shake it well, there are tiny balls to make sure everything is well-blended, it may separate in the bottle which is normal for this formula.
I love these highlighters because…….the creator makes all of these highlighters by hand in her home. I think that is really something! I love that the creator, Jenna Georgescu is innovative in such a creative way, I love the unusual colors she uses to create these “art in a pan” beauties. They do an amazing job to create glowing skin, so beautiful that Jenna thinks of her pressed highlighters as “magical fairy dust,” and after receiving them and experimenting with them, I am happy to say I agree with her! The formulas are creamy, easy to blend, and easy to control -do you want outrageous, do you want subtle? You decide with these highlighters. I love the pigments, and how they are put together. Most of all I love the glamorous glowing highlights you can achieve any time of year! These powders are perfect for Halloween parties. However, all of the shades create a gorgeous ethereal glow, and can and should be used when you feel like changing your regular nude, gold, and silver highlighters for something that is subtle, but way more interesting and definitely more exciting. When blended, the hues are outstanding. They shimmer and glow like nothing else! Isn’t that what every woman wants – to shimmer and glow like nothing else! It will make you feel like a fairy princess!
