How can you possibly try all the lipstick shades from Urban Decay Vice Collection? There are 100 of them! It would probably take you all day, and your lips would get red and sore from wiping each color off and continuing to put on the next one and the next one, until you think, “have I reached 100 yet?” My lips and I are exhausted! Urban Decay makes it a little easier for us to try at least some of the shades. In their 2016 Holiday Collection ,Urban Decay created two Vice Lip Palettes, and each one has 12 shades. So, now if you want to try the Vice shades, and play with lots of shades, you can purchase both Urban Decay Lip Palettes : The Blackmail Palette and The Junkie Palette each for($35), and play with 24 shades, almost a quarter of the 100 lipstick Vice Collection.
The compact for both palettes is a sleek gunmetal mirrored case.Inside, each includes 12 shades, a full sized mirror, and a flip cover over the 12 shades .
The plastic cover reads, “Lipstick is my vice!” Each palette also includes a retractable lip brush, that happens to be a descent lip brush for easy application of the lipsticks from the pans.
Not only do you get to try 12 lipstick shades, you also get to play with the different finish formulations. They include Mega Matte, Matte, Metallic, Sheer, and Sheer Shimmer. If you want to know more about the Vice Lipsticks ( Click Here) to read my previous review in my fall 2016 preview.
I purchased the Blackmail Palette. I felt, for me, it was more wearable than the Junkie Palette.

I love the deep pigmented shades, and the sheer ‘barely there’ shades. Urban Decay uses a ‘Pigment Infusion System – you achieve powerful pigment in one swipe. The formula also includes a hydrating butter blend that allows the lipstick to glide onto the lips, and condition the lips. There is value attached to the palette. Two regular Vice Lipsticks would cost you $34. For $35 you get a gorgeous palette, 12 beautiful lipstick shades, maybe not the size of the regular Vice Lipsticks, but included is a huge mirror and a beautiful lipstick brush. It is so easy to toss in your handbag, or suitcase! This way, you have 12 lipsticks with you all the time! And you get to experiment with a variety (12) shades, not two. I would choose this over two shades any day. Variety wins! Variety of the shades, and the formulas, and finishes. You can mix and match the shades. You can create your own shades. So play and have fun with the palette and use it for all of your moods, and for every occasion.
You Are Awesome!
