To illustrate, the Rainforest of the Sea Collection is formulated with skin loving ingredients such as algae and antioxidants that are moisture rich to boost hydration. In particular, the Shade Shifting Lipstick shifts-shades due to their multi-textured finishes.

The bullet is a plastic tube in an aqua shade of blue. Hence, it takes on the shade of lthe Mediterranean Sea (or the Caribbean Sea-it a matter of personal preference!)
Also, the bullet is appears slightly fatter than a traditional lipstick. Therefore, it is an easy lipstick to find in your handbag!

The formula is powered by Sunflower Seed Oil that is rich in Vitamins A and E. Because, Vitamins A and E help to hydrate , regenerate and condition the lips, the formula is hydrating. Since the conditioners create a creamy, buttery, smooth lipstick, lips feel comfortable and durable.. However, the lipstick doesn’t feather or bleed.
In addition, mineral pigments are included to soften and soothe the lips.
Furthermore, optic effects are included to catch the eye. Moreover, Multi-textures that include duo-chrome, glitter, metallic and iridescent give the lipsticks their finishes.

There are six, limited edition, shade-shifting lipstick shades. Each one is more stunning than the next. I purchased two so far. However, I am definitely going to order them all!
The two lipsticks I purchased are Pink Sand and Yacht Week.
First, Pink Sand is a Rose Gold shade with a metallic finish.
Next, Yacht Week is a vivid orchid shade with an iridescent glitter finish.
In addition to the two I purchased, there are two shades with a duo-chrome shift finish. First, Ocean Floor is a mauve shade with an aqua duo-chrome shift. Next, Scuba Dive is a lilac shade with a periwinkle duo-chrome shift.
Besides Pink Sand, two more shades have a metallic finish. First, Sunlit is a sheer golden pink with an iridescent glitter metallic finish. Last, Body Surf is a sienna shade with a metallic finish.
Rainforest of the Sea Shade Shifting Lipstick Application
The shade shifting lipsticks can be applied over bare lips. However, if you want to instantly transform them, they can be applied over a lipstick.
Also, you can use the tapered tip to define and contour your lips.
In addition, for the perfect shape, start in the middle of your lip and smooth outwards.

For a creamy lipstick, the shade shifting lipstick lasts for a good amount of time. However, like all creamy lipsticks, it needs to be reapplied throughout the day, or night!
What I love most about the shade shifting lipsticks is that they look different depending on your lighting. For example, your lips will look vibrant and metallic in direct light. However, your lips will look more subtle in natural light. In florescent lighting, your lips will appear more metallic, however, the shade is more wearable for daytime.
