Eye ShadowsMakeup

The new Spring Eyeshadow Palette has arrived.  This Natasha Denona Pastel Eyeshadow Palette , a limited edition 15 shade midi-palette, that creates everything from subtle to statement looks.  Normally, I’m not a big fan of pastel eyeshadow palettes. Generally speaking, for me,  most pastel palettes look muted. However, this is a Natasha Denona Pastel Palette, made with her much loved, signature, easy to work with, good color payoff formulas.  Therefore, her pastel shades are vibrant, making this a beautiful Palette for Spring.

You can find the new Natasha Denona Pastel Eyeshadow Palette at Sephora, Beautylish, Cult Beauty, and on the Natasha Denona Website. The Pastel Palette ( 15 X 0.04 oz./ 1.28g ) costs $65.

The front of the outer box and plastic case are a both pastel pink that ombres to pastel green. The back of the box and case are pastel green. The case has a magnetic closure.  Inside the case, underneath the lid, is a large mirror.  On the other side of the palette are the 15 eyeshadows, in three rows of five shades. The pans are embedded in a  lavender pastel   frame.

A quick word about the placement of the shades. For one thing, Natasha makes it easy for you to create eyeshadow looks.  One look is to use quadrants to create a look with 4 shades.  Another way to create a look is to use rows of 3.  Or, you can use shades that are close to the other shades you are using.  It is really easy to figure out.  Last, the holes on back of the case allow you to use a sharp object, and pop the shades out.  Then, you can arrange them however you want.

The pressed powder formula is blendable, easy to apply, and applies seamlessly. The shadows are soft, the shades are long-lasting with longwearing shades.  Evenmore, for more color intensity, the shades are buildable.  You can use a damp brush or a  damp finger to intensify and foil the metallic and duochrome shades.

The formula is Cruelty-free, Paraben free, and mineral oil free. The formula is not totally vegan. “Not all of Natasha Denona products are vegan as some of their products contain carmine, beeswax, lanolin, and/or other animal-derived ingredients or by-products. Also, Natasha Denona sells makeup brushes made with natural animal hair.”

Finally, if you are wondering if purchasing the palette is worth it, then my answer would be yes!  I am so tired of the neutral palettes with rose shades, or the neutral palettes with mostly brown shades.  Spring is here, and it is time to brighten up your shades with these beautiful pastel eyeshadows. Plus, Natasha Denona formulas are outstanding.  There are lots of duochromes in this palette!  The duochrome shades are my favorite because they are really interesting, and beautiful on the eyes.  So, if you are looking for a new Spring Palette, this is your perfect eyeshadow palette for the season.
