Bare Minerals Warmth -Still The Best Face Color

Warmth!  It’s an oldie, but it’s a goodie.  There are a lot of great bronzers on the market.  In fact, I have tried a lot of them.  And, I really do love some of them.  For example, from time to time I use the Becca Bronzers . Also      By Terry makes a gorgeous Sun Glow. In addition, I especially love Giorgio Armani’s liquid bronzer when I use the striping technique.  Also, I have been told by many of you that the Yves Saint Laurent Saharienne Bronzering Stones are your favorite bronzers! However, no matter how many bronzers I’ve tried, (and love), the one I always come back to is Bare Minerals Warmth. I prefer the Original Warmth in the loose mineral formula.  However, they do make a Bare Minerals Ready Warmth($17.99), a pressed mineral version in a compact.

silver.

Because the formula is in mineral powder form, the delivery system is a click, lock and go sifter.  In spite of the fact that there are no directions to open the sifter, they leave it up to you to figure it out.

It’s not rocket science, yet, I found some instructions on-line which made opening the sifter very easy.

Warmth is described as a golden chestnut color.  Actually, that is a spot on description of the color.  Furthermore, Warmth has a burnt red tone to it.  For example, think about the tone you get after being on the beach, in the sun.  First, you are not just a tan shade. In reality, A natural tan should have more tones to it.  Hence, the tones have that burnt red from the beach vibe.  Therefore, I consider Warmth a multi-dimensional shade,  It has that slight burnt red back from the beach, back from the slopes, shade.

The formula is made from creamy, pure minerals.  What it doesn’t have are preservatives, talcs, oils, waxes, fragrance or other chemicals.

Bare Minerals Warmth Application

Most important, the secret to applying Warmth is to use only the tiniest bit. We’ve all heard the words  swirl, tap and buff.  Remember them when you take off the lid, and tap a teensy weensy amount of minerals in the inside lid.

Next, take your brush and swirl it around inside the lid to pick up the minerals.  Make sure the minerals are tucked into the brush.  In fact, you really shouldn’t see the minerals on the brush. Next, tap your brush on the side of the lid to get off any excess powder.  Last, gently sweep it on where the light hits your face.  Specifically, sweep it on your forehead, cheeks, down the center of your nose, and on your chin. Then, go back with your brush and buff it into your skin.

I even sweep some on my brow bones.  In addition, you can swept some on your collar bone.  Moreover, I like to put a lip balm on my lips and tap the Warmth on top.

Bare Minerals Warmth Is Versatile And Adjustable

First, use Warmth after your foundation.  Foundation only creates a smooth canvas for your skin. Because Warmth will take your complexion one step further than foundation, I apply it as the second step in my makeup ritual.  Most important, Warmth adds umph to your skin.  First it creates warmth.  Next, it creates dimension.

Moreover, Warmth is perfect for the winter months when our skin is sallow and pale.  It gives our skin a “pick-me up.”  However, Warmth is a year-round complexion booster.  It can also be used as a bronzer. In addition, you can use it as a face contour.  For example, start at your temple, and make the basic contour 3 shape ,coming in at your cheeks, and jawline.

After you contour your face, add some blush on the apples of your cheeks.  Personally, I use it all over my face so I can infuse my skin with a perfect glow.

Last, it can be worn as an eye shadow.  And, don’t forget to put a lip balm on your lips, and tap some Warmth on top to make your lips glow.

Interestingly, I do put Warmth in a drawer when newer products are launched.  After a while, I hear a little voice in my head telling me to find the Warmth!  When I find it, and put some on, I love it all over again.

I love it because it feels weightless on my skin.  Also, the ingredients are good for you since it is made from pure minerals.

Because my skin is dry, you would think it would go on patchy and flaky the way some powders go on my dry skin.  However, Warmth easily slips onto my skin.  It blends well because it is a fine, sheer powder.

Finally, I love to sweep Warmth on to look radiant and bring a health sun-kissed glow to my face.

In fact, I really don’t consider Warmth to be in the bronzer category.  Although it can be used as a bronzer, I consider it to be more a color for your face product.  It does more than give you a bronze look.  It gives you a healthy, natural look, more like you took a nice long walk outside, and you came back with some “color”!

I’m feeling really pale right now.  My husband and I went to the Bahamas for five days.  Would you believe the temperature was in the 50’s?  Believe it!  I never had a bathing suit on! And, I never took my sweater off! That is why, when I came home, I searched my drawers for my Warmth!  My spirits were raised immediately when I looked in the mirror and saw the immediate change in my face.  It instantly boosted my complexion.  Finally, I had a dewy, healthy, gorgeous glow!  I looked like I had been in the Bahamas for a few days! LOL!

Do you still wear Warmth?  What do you use when you need a complexion boost?  Don’t you feel better when you look naturally healthier?  I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
