Natasha Denona Eye Shadow Palettes Holiday 2017 Edition

Eye ShadowsEyesMakeup

The Holiday Palettes are coming out in full force.  I just received the two Natasha Denona Eye Shadow Palettes for Holiday 2017, limited edition 01 Joya, and 02 Aeris. Each Palette houses five eyeshadows. Every shadow comes in one of the two formulas and four finishes that Natasha created.

Natasha Denona Eye Shadow Palettes : The Formulas

Natasha Denona is known for having superior quality products, including her famous eye shadow palettes. In short she created two eye shadow formulas, the original Signature Formula and the new Cream/Powder Hybrid  Formula.  Furthermore the new cream/powder hybrid is richly pigmented, covers like a cream, and is long lasting like a powder.

As a result the Cream/Powder hybrid formula blends well. Therefore it is buildable, covers eyelid with opaque color in a single swipe, creates eye dimension. Most noteworthy, there is no fallout.  The original Signature formula is buildable and blends well.  Consequently, there is some powdery fallout.

The Finishes

There are four gorgeous finishes for the shadows in all of the Natasha Denona Eye Shadow Palettes.

The Sparkling Finish

The sparkling finish is created with prismatic chrome crystals in the formula.  So these crystals work to scatter light for a multidimensional, sparkling shine.

The Creamy Matte Finish

Natasha’s matte eyeshadows feel creamy which is  not the norm. Especially relevant from my experience, the majority of matte eyeshadows I’ve tried feel dry. Hence Natasha’s matte shadows are easy to work with and easy to blend.

The Metallic Finish

The Metallic finish is a reflective finish with luster and a glossy-like gleem.  In particular Micro-fine pigments and minerals come together and create a liquified metallic look on the skin.

 The Duo Chrome Finish

Natasha’s Duo Chrome Finish is my favorite eyeshadow finish.  First, Natasha hand mixes the reflective duo-pigments herself, which results in a celestial sheen.  As a result Duo chrome is amazing.  Specifically the movement of your head determines which of the duo shades is visible. If you shift to one side, the shade you thought was predominate transformations and the other color (of the duo) becomes the predominant color. Most of all it works magically as a special effect.

The Joya 01 Eye Shadow Holiday Palette

Joya is a “twist” on the rose gold color family since it has one of a kind pinks, and berries with a pop of gold.

In conclusion, I love both the Joya and Aeris Eyeshadow Palettes ($48 each or both for $96) .  I am a huge Natasha Denona Fan, and since each palette is so unique, I had to purchase both.  Try Natasha Denona New Holiday Chroma Crystal Topcoats over the shadows for a glossy sheen that has more sparkle and shimmer.
