Hourglass is treating us to two new Ambient Lighting Edit Palettes For Holiday 2018. As a matter of fact, the Ambient Holiday Palettes have always been holiday favorites. Yep! People, like us, look forward to the Holiday release of these Ambient lighting palettes. Therefore, we’re in luck this year! Two palettes are better than one! First, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked, is in stores now. Next, in October,The Hourglass Lighting Edit 4, will launch. All of the powders in the Ambient Edit palettes give your skin a gorgeous diffused finish. Also, the palettes are multi-tasking. For instance, they contain blush, highlighter, bronzer and finishing powders. As a result, you ‘ll have all you need to do your face. Best of all, the Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked has six brand new shades!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Packaging
First, the palette is in the traditional Hourglass compact. Also, the compact is Hourglass bronzy-gold- mirror.
In addition, opposite the six powders, the compact has a full-sized mirror.
Above all, there is a new logo in the front of the compact.
It is an H with a bunny in it. Additionally, it signifies that Hourglass is 100% vegan. To explain, Hourglass has always been a cruelty-free brand. However, it has never been entirely vegan, until now. Most important, these holiday launches are the first to have the H with a bunny symbol.
Moreover, Hourglass is donating 5% of the profits from the Hourglass Unlocked Palette to the Non-human Rights Project. In fact, the palette got its name because “Unlocked” signifies the unlocking of animal cages. The founder, Carisa Janes saw the documentary “Unlocked” and sprung to action against animal cruelty. As a result, by 2020, the brand will be 100% cruelty-free and vegan. However, now Hourglass is 80% cruelty free and vegan. It makes me love Hourglass even more!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Formula
The technology that creates the powders is call Photo Luminescent Technology. What it does is capture, diffuse and soften the light that surrounds you. In this way, it works to make your skin appear softer, younger and lit from within. The powders are finely milled. As a result they blend easily. As always, the formula is luxurious.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Shades
To start with, there are three Ambient Lighting Powders.
First, Ambient Lighting Powder Soft Light is a soft peach shade.
Next, Ambient Lighting Powder Filtered Light is a cool-medium tone. Both of these powders are all over finishing powders.
The Lighting Powder Golden Bronze is a neutral golden bronze shade. Use this shade to contour your temples, the hollows of your cheeks and your jawline.
Next, there are two Ambient Lighting Blushers.
Ambient Lighting Blush Nude Glow is a light amber shimmer.
Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Flush is a soft plum shade. Use these Ambient Blushers on the apples of your cheeks.
Last, Ambient Metallic Strobe Lighting Powder Champagne Strobe Light is a true champagne shade. Use the Metallic Strobe Powder to highlight your cheekbones, and anywhere else you want to highlight, such as your brow bone, the bridge of your nose, and your Cupid’s bow.

First of all, eighty dollars is a lot of money for six powders. However, you are not paying for quantity, you are paying for quality! Also, here this palette has everything you’ll need to contour, highlight, and blush your face. Furthermore, it also has two face finishing powders. Moreover, some of these colors, especially the deeper shades, can double as eye shadows!
In addition, there is some shimmer in the blushers. Although, this is not glitter! Let me ask you, when you think of Holiday Palettes, would you expect anything less than a little bit of sparkle or shimmer? I don’t think so!
