Rihanna’s new makeup line, Fenty Beauty, is so gorgeous, it exceeds my expectations. My first purchase was the gorgeous Killawatt Highlighter Duo . Also, I purchased the scintillating Cosmic Lip Gloss Lip Glitter. Both products were amazing. Today, I have a new lip obsession. Surprisingly, Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($18), turned out to be another hit. In fact, Rihanna hit this one, the Fenty Glow Lip Luminizer, out of the ball park!
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Packaging
Fenty’s packaging is modern-looking and to the point. Primarily, the front of the box is white with a black Basquiat-type drawing of an F.
The massive doe footed applicator is useful for two reasons. First, according to Rihanna, the applicator takes out quite a bit more gloss than a normal-sized doe foot. Second, the amount of gloss on the doe foot is more than enough for one full application without having to double dip. Therefore, this is a one swipe and you’re done application.
First, he formula has a medium amount of pigment. Significantly, there is enough pigment to cover your lips if your lips have more pigment. On the other hand, if your lips are not very pigmented, there is not enough pigment to overpower your lips with opaque color.
The texture of the formula is smooth and thick. However, it is not sticky or tacky.
Moreover, the shine is explosive.
At the same time, the formula feels comfortable to wear. Also, the gloss bomb ingredients include lots and lots of shea butter, which is super hydrating and very nourishing for your lips.
Last, the gloss bomb has a beautiful scent that smells like Peach Melba topped with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Gloss Bomb Universal Color
The Gloss Bomb Luminizer shade is a pearly soft rose nude shade with minuscule, shimmering gold particles in it. Indeed it is the unicorn of nudes because it looks good on everyone. The fine pearl, along with the gold sparkle and the explosive shine makes me want to scream… I gotta have it!!!!! When Pinky and I saw the bottle in Sephora, it was love at first sight on both our parts. First, for me with my black hair and olive complexion it looks amazing. And then there is Pinky, who is fair and blonde, and the universal shade looks amazing on her too. In fact, I usually prefer a more dynamic lipstick, while Pinky loves a neutral lip gloss, and we both are in love with it!!!
What do you think of this wearable sexy color? Is it your Goldilocks shade too? Is it be your perfect go to lip luminizer? One last thought, Rihanna created a massive collection of foundation shades in the Fenty Line ( 40 shades in all.) Yet, Rihanna created only one Universal Shade for the Gloss Bomb! Why? Because that universal shade is the perfect shade, Need I say more?
