Although, The Dior Cruise Show 2022 occurred on June 17th, in Athens, Greece. Furthermore, the fabrics, in the Cruise Show 2022, were the inspiration for the Dior Cruise Show 2022 – 5 Colors Couture Eyeshadow Palette. Finally, Peter Philips, Creative Director and Designer for Dior Makeup, created the palette for a “High Color” Long-Wearing Couture Look. In fact, Peter Philip’s vision was that of “bare feet, sand dunes, and holiday cruises on sun-splashed yachts.” Above all, the vision included stashing “a versatile palette in your bag, for a quick change from day to night!”

First, the outer box , a deep navy blue shade, has a shiny finish. Even more, the writing on the outer box is silver. Also, the embellishments are silver. One way to distinguish the outer box limited Edition Dior Cruise Show 2022 5 Colors Couture from the regular 5 Colors Couture box is about 1/3 the way down on the front of the box, Cruise 2022 is stamped in matte silver, and above are two matte lines and below Cruise 2022 are two matte lines, that frame Cruise 2022. Next, the plastic compact is navy blue. Dior is written in silver, on the center of the outer lid of the palette. Further, on the mirrored silver strip, is a button that will open the compact.
Push in the center of the silver strip, where the letters CD are etched into the strip. In this way, the lid will open the palette. Then, to close, simply press down on the lid until you hear a click.
Inside the compact, underneath the lid, is a nice, big mirror. On the other side of the palette are the five eyeshadow pans.
Also included are two dual-ended application tools. One is a dual-ended brush applicator. The other is a dual-ended sponge applicator.

For starters, there are two call-out ingredients. Even more, this is the first time the eyeshadow formula is including these formula-enriching- ingredients. One, Aloe Vera, gives the eyeshadows their smoothness. Two, Pine Oil, gives the shadows their softness. As a result, these new additions to the formula, create eyeshadow shades that are soft and easy to blend.
Also included are intense pigments that create a long-wearing formula. The formula is a creamy, fine powder, that has a comfortable texture. And, the eyeshadows won’t crease.

First, the 5 Colors Eyeshadow Palettes are designed to create two looks. Of course, you can use all of the shades to create your own looks. First, the soft look, uses the top three shades.

Shade one is on the top left side of the palette. Then, shade two is on the top right side of the palette. And, shade three is in the middle of the palette.3shade 2 as a transition shade. Last, Shade 3, a warm coppery shade, has a satin finish. Wear shade three to line your lower lash lines. Also, apply shade 3 in the outer corners of your eyes. Also, to add more definition, you can wear shade 3 in the creases of your eyes. Finally, wear this warm coppery shade to create a smokey eye.

First, shade 3 goes with both looks. Therefore it is positioned in the center of the palette. Next, Shade four is on the bottom left of the palette. Last, Shade five is on the bottom right side of the palette.
To start, Shade 3, a warm, coppery shade, has a satin finish. Also, shade 3 is the deepest shade in the palette. One way to wear this intense coppery shade is as a liner, to line the lower lash lines. Also, wear Shade 3 on the outer corners of your eyes, to add more definition to your look.
Next, Shade 4, a light gold shade, has a satin finish. Wear this light gold shade as a highlighter, in the inner corners of your eyes, and on your brow bones. Also, you can apply Shade 4 all over your eyelids. Or, use your finger, press shade 4 in the center of your eyelids, for a pop of color.
Last, Shade 5, a deeper, browner sandstone shade, has a satin finish. Wear shade 5 in the crease of your eyes. Also, you can apply shade 5 all over your eyelids. For a lighter look, you can line your lower lash lines with shade 5. Or, wear shade 5 on the outer corners of your eyes.
My Final Thoughts On the Dior Cruise Show 2022 5 Colors Couture Eyeshadow Palette…..
First, this palette is another winner. In fact, the new eyeshadow formula, including ingredients like Aloe Vera and Pine Oil, is a first for Dior. And, it makes a difference. One thing for sure, the shadows are creamier than ever. I love the softness of the shadows. Even more, they were so easy to apply to the eyes. And, they blended well with the other shades! Finally, there was little if any kickback. And, the shades are really gorgeous. Additionally, they are perfect for the remainder of the summer, early fall, and let’s not forget our winter vacations to sunny places!
