Chanel Noir Allure Mascara

I am enamoured with the idea that The new Chanel Noir Allure Mascara , for the first time, has infused the color red into their black mascara.  The reason for the red is to add more depth and intensity to the eyes.  Even the new mascara brush has a tinge of red in it!  Also, I love the way Chanel packaged the mascara, the same way they package their Chanel Allure Lipstick.  The Noir Allure Mascara Formula creates a mascara that is four dimensional, adding definition, volume, length and curl. The mascara only comes in the one shade: Noir 10.  The shade is black with a tinge of red.  It is still a black  colored mascara!

You can find the Chanel Noir Allure Mascara at Ulta, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, Bloomingdales and on the Chanel Website.  The Chanel Noir Allure Mascara (0.21 oz./ 6g) costs $42.

The Noir Allure Mascara comes in a signature Chanel outer box, shiny black with white writing on the front and back of the box, and gold metallic on either side of the box.  Inside, the mascara comes in a long, rectangular case with a gold lid.Chanel uses the same iconic Click technology you find on their Allure lipstick cases, where you press down on the top CC on the gold lid , you’ll hear a click( the mechanism that transforms the mascara, allowing it to open instantly) and the gold lid pops out. Turn the lid, and you realize the lid is now the handle for the mascara wand. On the other end of the very thin, flexible mascara wand, is the flexible brush that captures every single lash, allowing all of your lashes to fan out.

How does recycling Chanel containers save the environment?

Tossing out your empty mascara tubes will probably result in them ending up in a landfill, where they’ll never decompose and will make things worse for the planet.

But when you take the time to toss out your empty Chanel containers in a proper way, you’re helping to make our world better.

Here are some ways how recycling Chanel containers save the environment:

1) Recycling Chanel containers save energy and reduce greenhouse gases:

The production of plastic involves many steps and large use of energy. When you recycle your containers, it reduces the amount of energy needed to make new ones.

2) Recycling Chanel containers prevent water pollution:

The manufacturing process of plastic involves a variety of chemicals that can be harmful to the environment if not recycled properly. Recycling those bottles will prevent them from entering our water system and harming marine life.

3) Recycling Chanel containers reduce air pollution:

Pollutants are released into our atmosphere as a result of plastic production. By recycling empty bottles, we can reduce air pollution caused by plastic waste.

4) Recycling Chanel containers keeps harmful chemicals out of landfills:

When the recycled products are used again, it is done in a way that does not harm the environment.

Recycled plastic bottles and aluminum containers are melted down and reformed into new bottles, cans, and other containers.

Finally, We all need to focus on saving the environment – even if it is just a little bit at a time!

The formula is enriched with provitamin B5, to help fortify and protect your lashes.  Also included in the formula are 3 naturally derived waxes, including rice wax, beeswax, and carnauba wax, that create the volume, length and curl of your lashes.  And, for the first time, Chanel has infused one of their mascaras with the most subtle hint of red, for more depth to your lashes.  Carmine is included in the ingredients, which creates the color red when the beatles are ground up.

Last, don’t think of this as a red mascara.  It still is a very black mascara.  Only, when the minute bit of red is added to the black, it adds more definition, without altering the shade too much,  to the actual black shade  Also, I really love the flexibility of the wand, which makes it easier to apply the mascara to the upper, and lower lashes, easily.  And, the click technology makes you feel like this is a very luxurious, high-end applicator. It is Chanel after all!
