By Terry launched two Sun Designer Palettes in 2016. To learn more about Sun Designer Palettes 1 – Tan and Flash Cruise, and 2 -Light and Tan Vibes CLICK HERE . For Spring/Summer 2017, By Terry launched two new Sun Designer Palettes Summer Edition Palettes 3 – Tropical Sunset, and 4 – Savannah Love($82). The 2016 Palettes are nothing like the new 2017 summer edition Palettes, but they do round out a gorgeous collection of Sun Designer Palettes.
The New Palettes come packaged like palettes 1 and 2, in a beautiful, purple lacquered compact case that has an extra-large mirror under the cover. There the similarity ends. The summer edition 3 and 4 palettes have an embossed texture on the cove that feels more summery, probably because it has a gold palm print, which is a summery image. The dividers are gold in these palettes, as opposed to the black dividers in palettes 1 and 2.
The palettes, like their predecessors, each have six shades in both silky satin and matte finishes. You can create a healthy natural tan, sculpt contours, and brighten your features with these six beautiful shades. They are made from super-fine powders that enhance the skin, and blur imperfections. They are soft and silky shades that blend seamlessly. The shades are for any skin ton. They are composed of blush, bronzer and highlighter shades, which creat that sun-kissed summer glow we are all looking for in the summer(especially now when we were sunscreens with SPF 50 protection! And if we don’t, we should!!! That is why there are so many makeup lines creating a sun kissed glow, because we no longer get kissed by the sun!!!!
Tropical Sunshine Palette 3 is an all in one palette. The blush shades are the most gorgeous shades of sunsets.
The blush shades can be used alone. The gold creamy highlight shade in the middle, and the bronze shades on the top and bottom left are a mix of cool, warm and neutral undertones. A combination of the entire palette can be swept onto your cheeks for a stunning, wearable, awesome glow.

Sun Designer-Palette Savannah Love 4 has semi matte, to satin to pearly sheen finishes. You will get a more burnished and glowing finish the more blending you do. This is the more subtle of the two new Sun Designer Summer Edition Palettes.
Savannah Love also has six shades.

The Savannah Love palette is more subtle than the Tropical Sunshine Palette. The pigments are medium to rich. They are soft and you can build them to your desired intensity. The quality is excellent. The powders feel smooth, silky and soft. There is some powder kick up in both palettes because they are powder. There is only a tiny bit of fallout. The powders are so creamy they melt onto the skin. Best of all, if you love natural, they give you the most beautiful natural flush of color. Mix two or more shades together with a swirl of your brush. You can use a smaller brush for individual shades, or to use as eye shadow.
I purchased both palettes, because I love the By Terry Brand, and I am a fan of all of her products. If I had to choose one, I personally would choose the Tropical Sunshine 3, because I love the warm, gorgeous sunset shades. They give my skin a warm summer radiance. The Savannah Love is a beautiful palette, but in summer I think it is a little too neutral for me. But, both palettes enhance your skin and give you a sun kissed glow. That is the best kind of glow, isn’t it?
Lets chat about these gorgeous, luxurious palettes in the comments below. Would you spend $82 on the By Terry Palettes? Which one would you purchase if you were to buy one? What do you think of By Terry products?
You Are Awesome!
