Gifting – The Burberry Festive Beauty Box

What I want for Christmas is….The Burberry Festive Beauty Box!  This Burberry Limited Edition box includes four Burberry makeup favs.  Have you tried any of Burberry’s Cosmetics? For the simple reason that Burberry Cosmetics are not commonly found in US department stores,  I am not that familiar with their products.  Actually, the only spot that I have purchased Burberry Cosmetics is on Sephora.com. The Burberry Festive Beauty Box is a limited edition item that costs $40 at Sephora.com.  However, you can also purchase Burberry Beauty on their Online Website. In the event that you are not from the either the UK, or the US, Burberry Online can direct you to your country or they can ship directly to you.

Which brings me to the reason I’m craving the Burberry Festive Beauty Box for Christmas this year.  Because I haven’t had the opportunity to experience the Burberry Line, the Beauty Box includes four Burberry Favorites.  These favs include products for the eyes, lips and face.  Also, in general, Beauty Boxes are a great way to learn about and try out new products.  That said, I can’t wait to tell you about the products in the Burberry Beauty Box!!

Burberry Festive Beauty Box Packaging

Above, from left to right, is the packaging for the lipstick, mascara, eyeshadow and face glow fluid.  On the subject of packaging, the Burberry packaging is festive because lipstick bullet and eye shadow compact are silver. Furthermore, appropriately etched on the lids of the lipstick and eye shadow is the famous “Burberry Plaid.”  The packaging is luxurious and sturdy.  Also, you receive a full – sized mascara, and face glow fluid.

First, the Cat Lashes Mascara has an innovative hourglass shaped brush.

Specifically, the formula is rich, lightweight and inky.  Also, the ingredients contain Elastomer which hugs, stretches and separates eye lashes. Most important, the finish had no clumping and it left my lashes soft and flexible.

Fresh Glow Fluid Base in Nude Radiance No. 1 -Deluxe Mini

The Fresh Glow Fluid Base is a multi-use primer.  First, it illuminates the complexion.  Also, it creates a dewy glow.

The formula contains a blend of mirror-flat, intense reflection pearls.

What is more , the pearls help blur minor imperfections.

Best of all, it is shimmer-free.

Lip Velvet in Oxblood – Deluxe Mini

Recently I wrote about another Burberry Lipstick in the Oxblood shade.  I really liked this lipstick.  However, the packaging was not well thought out.  Therefore, I wished the shade came in a roll-down lipstick.  And, guess what?  Burberry Lip Velvet comes in the gorgeous deep burgundy shade Oxblood.  Most important, Lip Velvet is a creamy lipstick that locks in rich pigments.

Also, the Lip Velvet formula feels soft and velvety.  Furthermore, it has a matte finish.  In fact, in one stroke the lipstick glides on effortlessly and delivers a soft matte finish.  Also important, the lipstick has long-lasting wear-time.

Eye Colour Glow in Gold Pearl – Full Size

The Eye Glow is a talc-free powdered eye shadow.  Furthermore, it blends highly pigmented color with light-reflecting particles.  The formula glides on and blends easily.  Also, the formula is lightweight, and has a smooth texture.

Therefore, your application is an even wash of luminous highlighting color.

What do you want for Christmas?  Better yet, What gift would you like to give? For one thing, I’d give the beauty lovers the Burberry Festive Beauty Box.  Not only is it a great way to try some of Burberry Favorites, it is also packaged luxuriously.

I think the mascara has a good formula.  However, what I loved most about the mascara was the flexible brush.

I also loved the Fresh Glow Base because it created a subtle, no shiny, radiance.  Also, it felt great on my skin!

The Eye Shadow was just o.k.  I used my fingers to apply it to my lids.  Basically, it worked as a lid brightener.  Furthermore, it could be used as a highlighter on your browbone.  Actually, it would look beautiful on your cheek bones.

I loved the lipstick!  First, I love the deep burgundy Oxblood shade .  I love it more than ever during the holidays.  It is long-wearing.  I used a lip gloss over the matte to create a shine.
