Are you in the mood for a new blush? Me, I am always looking for new, different blush. BareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush was released at the end of July. First of all, I love the BareMinerals signature formulas. For one thing, all of their products are Clean, and Cruelty free. However, this blush is not a BareMinerals’ loose powder, or pressed powder blush that we all know and love. In fact, the bouncy blush is a cream to powder, mouse. As a result, this is a new formula for BareMinerals. Although, it isn’t new in the world of beauty. For example, some highlighters come in a bouncy formula. One is the Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter. Moreover, many eyeshadows come a bouncy formula, like the Metalist Bouncy Cream Eyeshadow Palette. In fact, part of the BareMinerals bouncy collection includes two eye shadow palettes, along with the four shades of bouncy blush.
You can find the Bouncy Collection on the BareMinerals Website, and at Sephora. First, the BareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush costs $29. Second, the BareMinerals Bounce and Blur Eyeshadow palette costs $29 as well.
BareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush Packaging
First, the Bounce & Blur Blush comes in a sleek , black matte outer box. Also, the top of the box is the color of the shade inside.
And, the color is the exact match as the bouncy blush that is inside. Next, the plastic, circular compact is also matte black.
However, the compact does have a clear window. Therefore, you can see through to the actual blush. I like this , especially if you buy more than one color. In this way you can find the shade you want to wear without having to open the blush, or look on the backs of the compacts to read the shade color.
BareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush Formula
The Bounce & Blur formula is good for your skin! That’s what BareMinerals is all about. Their formulas, obviously, include minerals. Furthermore, the formula is cream to powder. It feels firm, yet bouncy. It has a soft, cushiony texture. And, this particular texture tends to dilute the pigments in the blush. As a result, the blush color in the pan isn’t as strong when you apply it to your face. However, when you layer it, the color gets stronger and stronger.
Moreover, the formula includes a blend of hydrating botanical ingredients. One thing the botanicals help to do is blur fine lines, and smooth the appearance of your skin. Above all, it creates the bouncy texture. Also included in the formula, is the blurring mineral complex. First, it creates the soft-focus diffused finish. Also, it builds, and blends easily for a beautiful, blurred, natural-looking flush. Finally, Color-Smart Pearls are in the formula because they reflect and refract light. As a result, your blush color won’t look flat. Also, the blush won’t cake. And, the color will never appear to be uneven. In addition, you’ll never have a harsh blush line!
BareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush Shades
There are four Bounce & Blur Blush shades in the Bounce & Blur Collection. All of the shades were inspired by Sunrises and Sunsets. I purchased the shade Pink Sky.
Pink Sky, a poppy pink shade, has a super-soft pearlescent finish. Second, Mauve Sunrise, a rosy mauve shade, has a demi-matte, satiny finish. Then, Coral Cloud, a fresh peach shade, has a demi-matte, satiny finish. Finally, Blurred Buff, a bronzed rose shade, has a demi-matte satin finish.
BareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush Application
To start with, the the Bounce & Blur Blush application is quick, and uncomplicated! All you need is your fingers. As a result, you won’t need a brush. However, you can use a brush if you prefer! The bouncy, mousse-texture of the blush is super easy to blend. So, use your finger to tap the color on your cheeks. Then, blend the color outwards. The CleanFormula applies flawlessly. The mousse is so creamy, smooth and weightless. You’ll never see a blush-line!
In addition, when you apply the blush sheer, you can actually wear it on your upper cheekbones, as a highlighter. The reason you can do this is the blush , applied sheer, will give you a healthy-looking sheen!
BareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush Last But Not Least……
Do you need this blush? Only if you are craving a demi-matte, satiny finish! Another reason you would need this blush is if your skin texture is emphasized. Therefore, you would need the blurring formula that this spongy, mousse has to offer. Finally, this is a great blush to keep in your handbag, and apply it on the go. First, all you need is your fingers, and a mirror! Second, the blush applies easily and quickly! And, you can apply the blush for a sheer, highlighted look, or you can layer it to make the color more intense!
