We all know that our makeup look is not complete until we add a pop of color to our cheeks. When blush is applied correctly it has the power to transform us, and it completes our look.
So, do you want a flattering flush? Tuesday’s tip will teach you how to achieve it. All you need is a cream blush and your finger. It’s that easy.
And the big reveal is : Not to apply your blush the way we have all been taught!
- Do not concentrate on the apples of your cheeks.
- Suck in your cheeks.
- using your finger to apply the blush, apply it directly to the hollows of your cheeks.
- Use a light tapping motion
- finish by blending any remaining color onto the apples of your cheeks, and along the tops of you cheekbones
Why does this technique work?
It works because when you apply blush predominantly to the hollows of your cheeks, instead of the prominent apples, you will get enough color to brighten up your complexion, and add definition to your face, without you looking sculpted or made up. Instead you will achieve a natural flush like we had when we were children!
Try putting your blush on using this technique. It is easy to do, you can use whatever cream blush you have, and all you need is your finger. The result is beautiful, flushed, fresh-looking skin.
