Nude Stix is a No Nonsense, multipurpose, portable Touch and Go makeup crayon that was created by Canadian sisters Ally and Taylor Frankel, and their mom, Jenny Frankel. a chemical engineer. Jenny is a co-founder of Cover FX, and has 20 years experience in the beauty industry.(A sure bet to include as a partner!) The sisters prefer a no-nonsense product that provides a natural look and can easily be applied. In fact, with these Nude Stix Crayons your need for a makeup brush is obsolete! The way the crayons are meant to be applied is simply coloring on the colors and then blending them with your fingers. Pretty Easy, Right?
I happen to be at the Space NK Boutique across the street from Harrods, in London where I discovered they carried the entire line. I had never seen a display before, as our Sephora doesn’t carry them, and I have only ever purchased them online, either from Space NK, or Sephora. They are getting more popular in the US, and now Beautylish carries them as well. Since I had never seen the entire line, I was able to play with the colors and textures. I purchased two Nude Stix Magnetic Eye Color Pencils ($24), in Angel and Burnished.
Burnished is a Bronze-gold
Angel is a soft shimmering wash of champagne, rose and gold
These eye color pencils multitask: you can use them as eyeliners, as eye shadows, and as highlighters, on you eyes (the brow bone and inner corners), and on your face (to highlight your cheekbones, and other high planes of your face such as the bridge of your nose, and your cupid’s bow).
I love that these Magnetic Eye Color Pencils are simple, wearable,long wearing, and they are waterproof. They are so easy to apply, just color on like you were coloring with a crayon, and blend with your fingers. They are super soft, they glide on so effortlessly as if they are skating on ice, and they are so easy to blend! They will not budge once they are set, but be quick when bending, before it sets! You have a few seconds leeway before they set to smudge them! They last until you take them off! They provide intense color, because they are nicely pigmented! And, as I mentioned, you can use them as highlighters on other places besides your eyes.
Important to note, the perfect pencil sharpener comes in every pencil case. The sharpener is designed specifically to sharpen all the of the Nude Stix Crayons in the line!
The Award Winning Nude Stix Lip and Cheek Pencils ($24) , Dual-ended Nudestix Lip and Cheek Pencil ($24) also are multitasking, as they perform as a lip liner, a lip balm with color, and a cheek color cream. These feel extra-creamy and soft to the touch.
These lip and cheek crayons contain lip and skin moisturizing ingredients Shea Butter, Vitamin E, and peptides that add plumpness to your lips. I chose two single lip and cheek colors, and a dual lip and cheek color (which has two colors-one on either side). the Dual crayon is Whisper on one side, and Mystic on the other side.. Then I chose a whisper single stick ( I must really love whisper, and it is also their best selling color), and I also chose the single color Sin.

Left is Sin (a Rose Shade) Middle is Whisper on the top ( a pinky Mauve nude) and Mystic on the bottom ( a lighter shade that is a dusty rose nude) and Whisper the single ( a pinky mauve nude)
What I love about these Lip and cheek pencils is …they multitask and become 4 products in one-a lip liner, a lip balm, a lipstick, and a cheek color. They feel nothing like what we know a pencil to feel like-it actually feels so creamy that you almost think it could be a serum. They are buildable, and they’re the perfect cream, not matte and not glossy. They are fast and easy to apply. They provide you with great coverage and beautiful colors.
Lastly, I purchased Nude Stix Matte Lip ($24) in Raven and Royal.
Raven is an edgy, deep, clear red. It is vibrant shade that makes a statement! And Raven is in the matte formula. However, the formula is so luxurious, that it is not drying, does not bleed, nor feather.
Royal is a classic, bold red. It has a berry tone to it.
Both colors are matte, but the formula is incredible, because although the colors are matte, they do not look dry, nor are they drying to the lips.
I am madly in love with these colors!
Although Sylvie tried the matte vibrant colors on her fur, she really prefers the neutrals, with her fair coloring. for her new lips!
The black pencil case is a big, big bonus! Each product comes in a pencil case with a sharpener. The lid is a large mirror. What is so great about it is, the case can hold multiple pencils, such as your concealer pencil, lip and cheek pencil, and an eye pencil or two, plus your sharpener. (It holds all you need in the box!) It is great for travel, and you can throw it in your handbag and touch up anytime! I love that inside the top is a mirror – and the mirror is really large for a “compact!”

What I really Love About Nude Stix is ………….this is a luxury face makeup in a crayon, for the face, the eyes and the lips. The formula is perfect, the colors are perfect, the staying power is amazing, it’s Waterproof to boot, and it also won an award for the Prestige Brand of the Year. Now that really says something to me. Also, it is quick and easy to use. For me, it is a great everyday throw on fast, still look fabulous, makeup that is quality and luxury in a crayon inside a pencil box! This is definitely a Must Try! You Will Really Love It. And, you get a lot of bang for your buck! A great pencil case, a sharpener, and quality ingredients for $24 is not bad at all considering this is an award winning luxury brand!
And Sylvie loves it too! (Even if her lips are a little crooked!)
