The right blush adds warmth to your complexion, has the power to make you look more awake and will complete your entire makeup look. If your goal is radiant, natural-looking skin that’s got a youthful boost, liquid blush is the way to go. The New Nars Afterglow Liquid Blush is perfect for many reasons. It is a lightweight liquid blush infused with skincare! Therefore, it is great for your skin, and it creates a lasting glow. Read on for my review.

The Nars Liquid Blush outer packaging is the signature Nars recyclable black box, with white writing, feels like a silky matte suede.

The Liquid Blush comes in a light peach plastic square bottle, with white writing, and it has a metallic gold square lid.

Once you unscrew the lid, the lid becomes the handle for the doe-foot applicator.

The formula is what makes the Nars Liquid Blush stand out from the others. This lightweight blush formula is infused with hydrating skincare. It has a “silky formula that layers and blends without streaking. Lightweight, ultra-creamy texture applies easily for transfer-resistant cheek color. Buildable pigment allows for customized application, ranging from a soft wash of color to an intensified effect. Infused with Sodium Hyaluronate for 8-hour hydration, plus Vegan Collagen for healthy-looking skin.” The Sodium Hyaluronate gives your skin deep,nourishing hydration. In fact it is supposed to nourish your skin barrier for 8 hours. Vitamin E is included because of its powerful antioxidant properties that supports the skin. Vegan Collagen promotes the appearance of smooth, healthy looking skin.

The Afterglow Liquid Blush comes in six shades: Orgasm, Behave, Dolce Vita, Insatiable, Brazen, and Wanderlust. I purchased one shade, Brazen. When I describe the shades, you’ll see why I chose that particular shade.

The Shade Descriptions

Orgasm

Need I say more? We are all familiar with this peachy-pink shade with a golden shimmer.

Behave

Behave is a mauvey-pink shade. It has a cool undertone, and doesn’t have any shimmer. I think this shade is the fairest shade of the six. It really will fade into the background, not looking much like anything.

Wanderlust

Wanderlust is a soft lilac shade. Lilac is a difficult shade to wear for most skin tones. The shade can be worn if you have golden or olive undertones. If your complexion is ultra-fair, you can wear this shade.

Insatiable

Insatiable is a rich Berry toned wine color shade. It has a lot of blue in it. This shade is very pigmented compared to the other five shades.

Dolce Vita

Dolce Vita is another familiar Nars shade that has been around for years. Many of us who have worn Nars, starting with their lipsticks, have worn this shade. Dolce Vita is the perfect shade of dusty rose. with a browner base note. When I swatched the shades six shades in the store, this shade was my second choice. However, I went with the shade that would give me the ideal healthy flush.

Brazen

I saved my absolute favorite shade for last! Brazen is described as a coral-peach shade.

It really is a true coral. It is not orange, and it is not pink. This, to me, is the ideal, healthy-looking flush.

Finally. Blush has always been my favorite makeup staple. Lately, since it is summer, I usually reach for my cream blushes. In the winter, I wear powder blush. I never used a liquid blush before. I never thought that liquid blush was an option for me. You can apply the blush with your fingers, a brush, or a beauty blender. Whatever applicator you choose, the blush glides onto the skin. It seamlessly melted into my skin, leaving a natural looking flush. If you love the no-makeup-makeup look, this is a winner. However, you can layer and build the product to create more intensity for a look that makes a statement. What sets this blush apart is it has staying power! Last, for me , this is a great option for the summer. If you want a more natural-looking glow, a radiant appearance, you’ve got to give this one a try.
