Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Dip

Lip GlossLips

To begin with, the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Dip should’ve, would’ve, and could’ve been a great idea!  In other words, in another time, and in another place, the Gloss Bomb Dip would have, could have, and should have been a successful, fun way to re-dress the original Gloss Bomb.  In fact, I always say, half of a successful makeup products is the packaging.  Only, in this case, the intention of the packaging, to conveniently keep it with you, doesn’t work.  Although, I love the original Fenty Gloss Bomb.

First, the formulas are the same.  Next, the original color, Fenty Glow, is the same. However, the packaging is completely different.  One, the original Gloss Bomb comes packaged in what looks like a bottle of nail polish.  Instead of a brush, the bottle top turns into a doe-foot applicator.  There it is!  So, if you had a choice to choose a doe-foot applicator, or your fingers, which would you choose.  Remember, we are living in a Covid World.  Everywhere we go, we still wear a mask. Furthermore, I think the masks are here to stay for a long time.  Then, why would we risk using an unsanitary applicator, like fingers, during a pandemic?

Second, if you are thinking so what, you’ll just keep it at home on your vanity, think harder.  Maybe, you won’t need the Gloss Bomb Dip packaging, since you’re leaving it on your makeup table, next to your perfume, and hair brush!  Then, you are better off with the nail polish applicator, or a tube applicator.

You can find the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Dip at Sephora, and on the Fenty Beauty Website.  Also, the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Dip (0.21 oz./ 6g) costs $19.  Even more, you can find the Original Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer at Sephora and on the Fenty Beauty Website, in the Fenty Glow Shade.  Also, the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ( 0.30 fl. oz./ 9mL) costs $19.

The Formula For The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Dip Lip Luminizer

the ingredients

First, he formula has a medium amount of pigment.  Significantly, there is enough pigment to cover your lips if your lips have more pigment.  On the other hand, if your lips are not very pigmented, there is not enough pigment to overpower your lips with opaque color.

The texture of the formula is smooth and thick. However, it is not sticky or tacky.

Moreover, the shine is explosive.

At the same time, the formula feels comfortable to wear.  Also, the gloss bomb ingredients include lots and lots of shea butter, which is  super hydrating and very nourishing for your lips.

Last, the gloss bomb has a beautiful scent that smells like Peach Melba topped with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Also, the formula is cruelty free, vegan and gluten free.

The Universal Shade Fenty Glow Gloss Bomb Dip Lip Luminizer

The Fenty Gloss Bomb Dip, or should we call it gloss with a clip, comes in one shade.

My Final Thoughts On The Fenty Glow Gloss Bomb Dip Lip Luminizer…….

First, when I saw the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Dip, I fell for the shade, again!  I already have the shade in the original packaging.  The only difference is, the original packaging comes in Fenty Glow, plus five other shades.  Like I said, the Gloss Bomb Dip only comes in the Fenty Glow shade.  Next, the packaging is really cute, a clear case, with a big clear clip on the back.  So, you are really purchasing this version of the Gloss for the packaging.

Also, it could’ve, would’ve and should’ve been a hit if it were released at another time and place. Finally, I’m sure this packaging was created before Covid.  However, I am surprised Fenty launched it, when we are still getting vaccinated.  Even more, we are still wearing masks. I don’t think they have come up with a mask-friendly lip gloss, yet!  Now that would be a big seller!  Finally, we have to be careful with whatever we do, applying hand sanitizer, constantly washing our hands, and continue social distancing.  Why take a chance with anything!?!

xoxo

Let me know what you think about using your fingers to apply your lip gloss, all over the place,  during a pandemic, when we are just starting to come out of lockdown.
