Brand New for Josie Maran, Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm ($32.96) is also a brand new category for Josie, it is a skincare finishing balm, and a makeup primer, and it sets your makeup when you are finished applying it. Now if that isn’t a multitasking wonder, nothing is!
The actual jar Surreal comes in is adorable! It looks like a little treasure for your skin is inside the jar. It looks so pretty, great to leave out your vanity, or makeup table!
It is a skincare finisher. Put it on, after your skincare routine, over your moisturizer. It seals in your anti-aging products and moisturizer. It is also a primer before your makeup application. The cream smooths your skin while it leaves a soft luminous light which will create the perfect canvas for your makeup application. Not only will your makeup glide on easily, your color will last all day. You can also press it over your makeup, using it as a makeup finisher, and you will look flawless all day.
This is a creamy, dreamy, light-textured, whipped, argan oil-based formula. Wfeeew! It is infused with whipped Argan Oil, as well as other great anti-aging skincare ingredients, such as Shea Butter and Vitamin B3. It is called Etheric, because it gives a surreal, ethereal aura to your face that makes it look like it was touched by candlelight.
Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm instantly feels almost cool as it smooths your skin. It blurs the look of fine lines and wrinkles. 
What I love about Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm is…….it mattifies your face without it losing it’s dewiness! I love the texture of the cream. A little goes a long way. It holds in moisture keeping your skin hydrated all day. It also has no smell. It really blurs the look of pores and other imperfections. Remember, it doesn’t make imperfections and pores disappear-it is a skincare product- it is not a concealer, nor is it a foundation. It does give off a beautiful healthy matte-radiant glowing sheen to the skin! I was disappointed with the amount of cream that came in the already small (but adorable) jar. Granted, a little goes a long way, still- it is muy expensivo (very expensive) and it would be great if it came in a larger jar with more product in the jar. As it was, my jar was definitely not filled to the brim, or rim! So please Josie, don’t disappoint us! We love your products, and this one is no different, we just ask that you, at the very least, FILL THE JARS UP ALL THE WAY! I don’t think there is enough in there to last the month! Even if we don’t glob it all over our faces!
