I look terrible without makeup. However, during the summer, there are days when I would love to look ravishing without all the makeup!, (Don’t we all?) Hence ,the no-makeup makeup look is the only way to go! Recently, Giorgio Armani launched a no-makeup makeup collection, the Neo-Nudes, that includes a highlighter, a contour and five blush shades. Specifically Armani designed the Neo-Nude Collection to create the no-makeup makeup look. For me, the biggest problem I have with no makeup looks is I need a good bit of blush. And, too much blush means I have makeup on. Therefore, as soon as the Giorgio Armani A Blush was released , I was all over it! First, it is liquid color that instantly melds with your skin. Also, the company says it is like a “Watercolor For Your Complexion.” Most of all, without looking like I was wearing makeup, it provided me a gorgeous, healthy glowing complexion.

Giorgio Armani A Blush Neo-Nude A Packaging
First of all, the packaging is very natural, almost looking like bare skin. Additionally, the A Blush comes in a lipstick tube.
Actually, the tube is the size of a small lipstick! Also, the tube is an opaque, nude, beige shade. Although, near the bottom of the tube, it begins to ombre and becomes clear. In other words, it is see-through.
And, inside the clear “window” you see the color of the blush. In fact, you see the blush itself!
Furthermore, the applicator is a unique, oval-point, velvet doe-foot. Supposedly, it collects the perfect amount of color you’ll need.
Interestingly, the shape of the applicator tip is flat on one side.
And, the tip is slightly bent back for an easier angle to place the liquid on your cheeks.
Giorgio Armani A Blush Neo -Nude Formula
A Blush is a water-based , liquid color formula. Therefore, it is easy to apply. Because it instantly melds with your skin, it is easy to blend. It ends up leaving a stain of color on your cheeks. Moreover, it can be layered to create more intense color. As a result of layering the color, it will last longer. Also, the company describes the texture as being that of a “watercolor.”

The blush comes in five shades. They include 30, peach, 50, pink, 51, magenta, 53 fuchsia, and 54, berry. I purchased 51, magenta and 54 berry. These shades were deeper than some of the others.

At first, the color looks dark and opaque because it sheers out. Dot it on your cheeks. Then, using your fingers, or a brush, sheer it out. It will easily blend out. You’ll be left with a natural looking flush that has a slight glow as if you’ve been kissed by the wind. Also, I wore it over my liquid foundation. It lasted all day, and into the night. And, even though it faded, it was still there when I was ready to wash it off.

Best of all, it doesn’t look like makeup makeup! Usually, I apply blush with a heavy hand. Then, it looks like I am wearing blush. On the other hand, ‘A Blush’ gives me enough color so I don’t feel naked! For instance, It looks like I took a long walk on a windy beach on a sunny day. And as a result, I returned with the greatest, happy, and energized flush. It is the perfect flush for the no-makeup makeup look!
My only complaint is the tube size. It doesn’t hold a lot of liquid blush. And, it is very expensive for such an itsy bitsy amount of product. Although, I guess I should have figured that out, since it is Giorgio Armani!
