Although, at one point in our histories, everyone followed the Lunar Calendar ( which is based on the monthly cycles of the moon’s phases ) Other Calendars, such as The Jewish calendar, unlike the civil Gregorian calendar, is based both on the cycles of the moon as well as the sun — the months correspond to cycles of the moon, and the years correspond to cycles of the sun.
So what does this have to do with the Charlotte Tilbury Year of the Tiger Collection? One reason is, many people from east Asia and China, live all over the world. During the 16 days of the Lunar New Year Celebration, ( which is the equivalent to Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Valentine’s Day) people give each other gifts. Also, they buy things for themselves. Therefore, makeup brands got in on all the fun!
