By Terry added the Spring version . the Eye Designer Palette Parti Pris, Techno Aura No. 3 ($58), which is the Counterpart to last Fall’s Parti-Pris Palettes 1 and 2. The fall shadow shades, No.1 and No.2 ,were deep colored shades of gemstones and forests. Parti Pris, Techno Aura No.3 shares the same sumptuous formula, blendable textures and rich extra-fine powders and the same slim portable compact, with a mirror, as No.1 and No.2; yet the shades of this palette are the antithesis of the dramatic, deep , vibrancy of their Fall Equivalents.
The inspiration for Techno Aura comes from the use of light reflection technology. and the playful reflection light has on color. The shades are delicate pinks and nudes with a pearlized effect. If Palette No. 1, Forest Desire, represents the forest, and No. 2, Gem Experience, represents the gemstones found inside the earth, then the newest palette, No. 3 Techno Aura, represents the stars in the Universe. The shades capture and reflect light for a starlight effect. They are extremely ethereal and otherworldly, “Cosmic Color and a Holographic Shine!”
There are 6 shades in the palette. They are in keeping with the spring trends for 2017. They feel weightless creamy, dreamy and velvety like silk. They last a long time, especially if you wear an eye lid primer, which, by the way, is recommended by Terry herself! The pigments are micronized , which creates an extra-fine powder that blends beautifully. Because the texture is so soft the colors won’t fade or crease. The six colors are buildable, and can be worn alone or mixed or layered.
Use an eye shadow brush or your fingers to apply the eye shadows. Use a wet brush if you want a more intense look. Just playing around with it, the shadows are easy to work with, they go on with one swipe of the finger, however I wanted a more holographic look , so I put a second layer on. On me, the shades look pretty similar, yet, I used the darkest shade, a brown nude in my crease, and I tried the mint green shade on my lids, and I also played with the peach shade and I liked both looks very much. You really need to play with the palette, and mix the shades. Be adventurous. You can also create a sheer look , a barely there shade (the no makeup, makeup look, that shimmers , another awesome look. Have fun with it!
You Are Awesome!
