Bobbi Brown Cobblestone Lane Eyeshadow Palette Holiday 2021

Eye ShadowsEyesMakeup

There are lots of Goodies in the Bobbi Brown Holiday Collection 2021.  Today I want to show you one of the four eyeshadow palettes in the holiday collection : The Limited Edition Bobbi Brown Cobblestone Lane Eyeshadow Palette.  The palette includes eight shades.  The shades have shimmering, metallic and matte shades.  The soft shimmery shades, that brighten and illuminate, are warm-peachy coral tones.  Then, to add dimension and depth, are rich brown,  gold, and nude shades.  This is a very pretty, subdued palette, that will look good on most complexions.

You can find the Bobbi Brown Cobblestone Palette at Bloomingdales, Bergdorf Goodman, Blue Mercury, Macys, Saks fifth Avenue,  and on the Bobbi Brown Makeup Website.  Also, the Cobblestone Palette ( 8X 1.98g/ 0.6 oz. ) costs $39.

The Packaging

The Cobblestone Lane Palette comes in Holiday packaging, that is supposed to give a nod to the magic and energy of New York City during the holiday season. The holiday packaging is white with gold star embellishments, and a snowflake effect. The heavy cardboard case has a strong magnetic closure. Inside, underneath the lid of the case is a mirror.  What makes this mirror special, is there is a ribbon tab, that lets you slide the mirror out of the case.  On the other side of the palette are the eight eyeshadow pans.

The Formula

Three formulas create the Cobblestone Lane Palette.  First, the matte shades have a multi-dimensional matte formula.  It is a silky powder that glides on smoothly and is easy to blend.  Also, you can use the darker shades to line your eyes.  All you need to do is make your eyeliner brush damp, dip the brush in the shadow, and draw your line.

Next, are the High Shine Metal shades.  These highly shimmery shadows are richly pigmented.

Last, the Soft Illumination Shimmer Wash Eyeshadows formula includes silky powder. The shadows have a shimmering translucent color.  And the shades are easy to blend.

The Cobblestone Lane Eyeshadow Shades

Row 1 Across (Left to Right)

First, Shell, a very pale peach shade, has a creamy matte finish. The lightest shade in the palette, wear this as a base shade, or a transition shade.

Next, Sunrise Glow, a pinky-peach shade, has a shimmer wash finish.  This shade has a shimmering translucent color.   I like this shade as a highlighter, on the inner corners, and on the brow bones.  You can use this as a transition shade.

Third, Cocoa, a medium milk chocolate shade, has a matte finish. Wear this as a crease shade.  Use the shade to line and define your eyes.

Fourth, Dusk, a rose gold shade, has a metallic finish.  First, you can wear this metallic rose gold shade on your eyelids.  Also, wear it as a crease shade.  Line your lash lines with this metallic shade.

Row 2 Across ( Left to Right)

Fifth, Glow Struck, a peach shade, has a metallic finish. Wear this on the inner corners of your eyes. Also, you can pop it in the center of your eyelids to make your eyes pop!

Sixth, Peach Dahlia, a peach shade, has a matte finish. I would love this shade all over the eye.

Seventh, Petal Wash, a light pink shade, has a matte finish.  Wear this shade all over your eyes.  Use it as a transition shade.

Eighth, Modern Mocha, a dark chocolate brown shade, has a creamy matte finish.  Wear this shade to add depth and definition to your eyes.  Therefore, it can line your upper and lower lash lines.  Also, you can wear this in your crease.  Also, put it on the outer corners of your eyes. Then, smoke it out.

Finally, basically a neutral palette.  Some of the mattes are more pigmented than others.  When I think of cobblestone streets in New York City, I think of some of the most beautiful streets in the city.  The Cobblestone Lane palette is a very pretty palette.  It also has a very nice price tag.  It would make a great gift!
