Kevyn Aucoin introduced the collection’s newest color for summer 2016, Sunlight which was inspired by the extremely successful Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Franchise. The newest shade, Sunlight, a golden bronze with a warm shimmer mirrors the warmth and the glow that reflects a kiss from the sun. The three products that are included in the Summer Celestial Collection are Kevyn Aucoin The Lip Gloss in Sunlight ($30), Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Powder in Sunlight($44), and Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting in Sunlight($52).
“Kevyn Aucoin The Lip Gloss” in Sunlight is the newest color addition to the 18 existing gorgeous shades of “The Lip Gloss” in the collection. The Sunlight lip gloss shade is a delicate sheer, radiant wash of golden bronze color with a warm shimmer.

The Lip Gloss is designed to protect and moisturize the lips by coating them with quality, natural ingredients. The formula includes a blend of Vitamins, Sunflower See Oil, Castor Oil, Lanolin Oil, and it also includes Rosemary and Sunflower Extracts. The Oils help keep lips shiny, protected , nourished and moisturized. The formula’s ingredients also create optimal staying power.
Another feature that makes Kevyn Aucoin’s Lip Gloss a stand out is the patented applicator wand. It mimics the look and feel of a makeup artist’s pinkie finger, which gives you the precision you need to achieve an even application- as if a makeup artist were applying it ,for you, to your lips!
The Celestial Powder in Sunlight is a sheer highlighter that adds a subtle luminosity to your skin as well as accentuating your facial features. It is ultra-lightweight, sheer and easy to apply.
Sunlight Celestial Powder won’t sit in fine lines and wrinkles. It helps blur imperfections and accentuates your features with an illuminating gleam. The cashmere-like feel of the translucent formula seamlessly blends into the skin. Apply it for a soft and subtle effect, or build it for a more intense look. It never looks like you applied it with a heavy hand.
The Celestial Skin, which comes in Candlelight, a super-pretty warm gold, and Starlight, a cool, pink undertone , also included the newest color, Sunlight, a warm, golden apricot-bronze. I saw the three products presented as a set for summer 2016 in Space NK in London while I was there. I purchased all three products in London, and when I returned to the US, I realized that we did not have the Sunlight Celestial Skin Liquid Light here. I am surprised that it was not included in the US line, although the lip gloss and Celestial Powder in Sunlight is here. Maybe it was an exclusive limited edition shade for SpaceNK London? I am a little bit confused, but it is a beautiful apricot-bronze color, and I hope we eventually get it.
Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting is a long-wearing, 12 hour coverage, gel/lotion that is suitable for every skin-tone. It is three products in one. It is an illuminator, a primer, and a highlighter.
It is a discreet and sophisticated glow that is not greasy or shimmery or glittery. It combines ultra fine Pearls with micronized spheres that create glowing skin with a hint of highlight and luminosity. It also acts as a boost of shaping light that enhances facial contours.
The formula is infused with Jojoba Oil and Honey. Also included are Antioxidant Raspberry Stem Cell Extract and Bearberry Complex that protect skin against environmental aggressors and prevent damage from everyday exposure to pollutants
To get natural dewy skin that glows, mix 1/2 to 1 pump with foundation to get a light gorgeous sheen. Mix with BB or CC cream to get the best dewy luminous glow ever! Mix with your moisturizer for an all over glow. Try the Candlelight shade, a super pretty gold which is good for a warm skin look. Apply it directly onto your skin as a natural looking highlighter.
What I love about the Celestial Lip Gloss, Powder, and Skin Liquid Lighting in Sunight is ……they are versatile, long wearing , lightweight, sheer and just gorgeous! Kevyn Aucoin makes exceptional, products, and these are no exception. I love the soft subtle effect I get wearing all three Sunlight Celestials. I think the formulas are beautiful, and feel good on the skin. I love the silky smooth formula of the Lip Gloss that keeps lips smooth and shiny, the soft sublime glow I get from the Sunlight Celestial Powder, and the versatility of the Celestial Liquid Lighting. I hope Sunlight in the Celestial Skin Liquid will resurface here in the US, and elsewhere. I love the deep apricot-bronze color that creates a warm sunkissed glow. All three are subtle enough that they can be worn in the day. I love the unique emulsion of the Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting, that has skin care benefits as well. I love that it is WATERPROOF, and lasts from dawn til dusk, or from dusk until dawn. And I love the beautiful, healthy, fresh awake all over sunkissed glow!
