First, do you think it was a coincidence that Huda Kattan launched the Huda Mercury Retrograde Collection on October 24, 2019? Umm. I really don’t think there are any coincidences. In fact,, the actual Mercury Retrograde Event, which began on October 31st, continues through November 20 In other words, Mercury, appears to be spinning backwards. However, , the key word here is appears. In other words, Mercury really isn’t spinning backwards. Mercury only looks like it is. Therefore, on Earth, what we are seeing is an optical illusion. Even more, theMercury Retrograde Collection includes an 18 shade eyeshadow palette. Also included is a holographic makeup bag . Mercury Retrograde on November 11, 2019
Above all, today, at 7:30 in the morning Eastern Standard Time, we will have the opportunity to view a rare Celestial Event. Mercury will transit the sun. In other words, Mercury will cross in front of the sun! Although, Mercury transits the sun 3 or 4 times a year, our view from earth doesn’t see the actual transit. The reason is, Mercury’s orbital plane between Earth and the Sun doesn’t line up with Earth’s. Mostly, the way most Mercury Transits appear to us is Mercury looks like it drops above or below the sun! Now, today Mercury crosses Earth’s plane, as it appears to be,
in line with the Sun. And, only in this way is a transit visible. Therefore, the next time Mercury will appear to transit the Sun will not be until 20491 . Pretty Cool- Right?

Huda Mercury Retrograde Collection Last But Not Least………
To begin with, the Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette is so different from any palette I’ve seen. And, that’s a good thing. I think Huda hit the ball out of the park with this Mercury Retrograde Collection! For one thing, I love that she combined dusty coppers, rosy pinks, golden taupe, with pops of purple and blue. Also, I love the mixture of warm and cool shades. Furthermore, pastel shades are mixed with dusty, deep shades. This palette has a lot of possibilities. I’ve always been a huge fan of Huda’s cosmetics!
Moreover, Huda’s inspiration came from her current obsession, rhinestones! Therefore, the pinks, blues and purples are a nod to the way rhinestones shift color, depending on how the light hits them. Furthermore, there are a lot of multi-reflective, and glass-like glitter powders in this palette. As a result, they bring the crystal shine, sparkle and glow of the shadows, to life!
Finally, I love the creaminess of her shadows. For one thing, the mattes have good color, that goes on smoothly. Although, the Shimmers are a mixed bag. Therefore, the way you apply them, brush, finger, damp or dry, makes all the difference on how the shimmers perform.
Finally, don’t let the Mercury Retrograde make you feel paranoid. Stay rooted in reality! Don’t have important conversations until after November 20th! This is also a period when we get a chance to correct mistakes. And, it is the best time of the year for a makeover!
